Christian vocalist Jaci Velasquez and her husband, Nic Gonzalez of the Christian band Salvador, are expecting their first child, a son, in mid-November.
The expectant parents released the following statement,
This has been a great year! 2007 promises to be even better with thearrival of our first child. We’re thrilled and already feel creativelyinspired by our son.

Jaci was in a comedy called ‘Chasing Papi’. She plays one of the women who is played by a guy. The guy happens to have 3 girlfriends and she’s one of them! lol It’s a cute comedy. She was married back in Aug 2003 but divorced her then ex-hubby–Darren Potuck of the band AutoVaughn. In Dec, 2006~she married Nic Gonzalez.
