As a movie star actress it all depends on where you are at the pressent time. Quite possibly Angelina wasn't working when she was with the other children and in one isntance one child had pajamas and another had a dress. Who knows what she and Brad were doing or where they actually were at the time. Although we can all speak about what we would not allowor do, these people have very different lives than we do, and do whatever they can when they can. As long as they are all treated the same who cares?

I'd like to agree with all of you since this Nomadic family appears to be everywhere these days. However, I did grow up in a military family my dad was in the service. We moved every two years or so all over the US to be stationed where he was. Luckily for me during the time when I was younger school age, the military schools everywhere were all the same. The only thing that changed were the friends, environment, day of the week, and homework. More as I got older. Times back then were so much different than they are now, and we were not in this Technological age where things changed almost hourly (1960's) vs (2009). I commend the Jolie-Pitt family because they both have truly Big Hearts and they aren't stuck on race, creed, color, regligion. Like so many n the outside world are. Children are all the same when they are young anyway, they just know that they are a family, love one another, and have unique but pretty interesting and terrific parents.

Hey, Ashley I agree with you...sorry everyone. I grew up (in a milder form) like the Jolie-Pitts, changing countries every 2-3 years my whole life. We too lived in relative luxury with staff and people doing the moving for us etc etc. I can't say I minded so much as a young child, I just accepted it. My sister hated it though...she really missed her routines ie her favorite walk to school or her old bedroom. It really hit in adolescence...entering those years with few old friends, and all those experiences of being the "new kid" meant that deep down even now I really see myself as never belonging anywhere. I think it really intensified those teenage feelings of being "different" and strange". And lets face it, the reason everyone worries about te J-P is they are an EXTREME! Its not just new countries, Maddox has had continual upheaval in his family...first Brad then Zahara then Shiloh etc etc etc. And these kids are ADOPTED...Pax more than anyone would need stability and a sense of control over his own life. Not to mention thousands of paps swarming over you and weirdos(!) like us writing about you on blogs! But Brangelina are the parents, its up to them. I wish them luck.

Laila- I am sure that Angie and Brad are doing what they feel is best for their kids. Just because they move around a lot does not mean they don't have "stability". I am sure they have some things that remain the same no matter where they go, such as bedtime routinues. Also, they do, in fact, have a definite home base. It is in New Orleans. As for a set school, they actually have that as well. They go to the International School, so the curriculm is the same wherever they go. The only things that are different are the teachers, the other kids, and the location of the schools.
Anyway, the Jolie-Pitt kids look happy and well-adjusted to me!

I tend to agree with you Ashley. I’ve never understood Brangelina’s insistence on this type of nomadic lifestyle. Kids need and thrive on stability; a constant group of friends, a set school and a definite home base. And being uprooted and dropped into a new environment every few weeks has to be disruptive on some level, no matter how many privates planes you get to fly on or how many luxury suites you get to stay in. So I hope that Brangelina don’t plan on doing this indefinitely the one good thing is that most of the kids are probably still too young to be too disoriented by the constant moving around.

I agree with Chloe that when we imagine traveling with four little kids, most of us probably imagine the stresses of family-traveling the way WE travel, not the way the Jolie-Pitts travel. A professional likely makes makes their arrangements. They use a private jet on their own schedule. They don't do their own driving/navigating in unfamiliar cities. They may not even do all their own packing. They can afford the best, most kid-friendly accommodations ... Their circumstances make it easier for them to make travel adventuresome--and not stressful--for their kids.

So, it doesn't matter what bed those kids wake up in they won't feel disoriented because their parents will be there to kiss them good morning!! And that's all that matters.

Kids adapt well to any situation. No need to worry about them.
