Having a movie star as a parent means TiVo searches get a little personalized. Chris O’Donnell‘s four kids, Lily Ann, 7, Christopher Eugene Jr. (a.k.a.Chip), 6, Charles McHugh (a.k.a. Charlie), 4, and Finley, 16 months, get a trip out of seeing their dad’s name on the search results. Not only that, they love watching his work too.
The kids have seen me be Robin and they’ve seen The Three Musketeers. They’ve seen all the Batman stuff because I TiVo it. The kids thinkit’s great that they can put Dad’s name on TiVo and School Ties comesup. I just fast-forward to the sports sequences. They’ll say, ‘Dad,rewind you.’
Soproud the four are of their dad that they even insist on breaking outthe Batman gear, which Chris has said he’d rather not see or be seenwith, especially in public.
When we did Batman, I said, ‘Send me one of everything including thecostume and the gadgets.’ I have those boxes at my house in big crates.Every once in awhile, I [would hear], ‘Dad, can we please look at it.We need to look at it. You’re our Dad and you’re Robin.’ So I get outthe drill and open those crates.
Chris and his wife Caroline Fentress are expecting their fifth child.
