Matt Damon on Isabella and Violet

Actor Matt Damon, 36, and his close friend Ben Affleck, 35, are longtime Boston buddies with a lot of shared history. However, what really got Matt’s attention was seeing the second generation — daughters Isabella, 13 months, and Violet, 20 months — becoming fast friends during a joint trip to Hawaii earlier this summer.

Seeing the kids playing together, that was a trip.

I love this–and a totally real reaction–I have always wondered how they feel about how things are so funny and now they both have kids…and I was thinking of all the similarities…Ben and Matt only being about a year and a half apart in age and Isabella and Violet only being about 6 months or so–and both of them getting married and then welcoming daughters about 6 months later…and no doubt these two will be best friends, just like their dads =)) A trip–I love that description–I bet it’s just a hoot for them to look at their daughters playing together and remembering when they were younger…too cute
