Wow. Christie does not look like she could be the mom of someone so grown-up. And she’s clearly a great mom. (I’m remembering that really smart, articulate blog that Alex posted after being mocked by Perez Hilton for her looks.) And it’s cool that Christie could show up and be supportive of Billy. So much coolness contained in that one picture.

Would everyone stop comparing Alexa to her mother, her father, anyone. She’s Alexa – she’s beautiful, she’s talented and she’s simply her own person now. She has proven that she is paying her dues, she is not one of those “today” celebs (i.e., Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears – gasp) so obviously her parents have done right by her. Enough with the judments. If you don’t know these people (I happened to have had the opportunity in the past) then you have no right judging anything. Let her be herself – Alexa Ray Joel, her own entity.
