Mariska Hargitay shovels in the Gummi Bears

Actress Mariska Hargitay, 43, was open about the 54 pregnancy pounds she gained while expecting her son August, now 13 months. (Having gestational diabetes and a 10 lb, 9 oz baby inside didn’t help matters.) Posing as one of the ‘Hot At Any Age’ Glamour cover stars this month, along with Queen Latifah and Claire Danes, Mariska was asked how she regained her pre-baby body so quickly. She explained,

I was nursing, so I tried to focus on how everything I was eating was going into August’s body.

However, when Mariska was finished feeding her son, it was all over.

As soon I stopped [breastfeeding], it was Gummi Bears by the mouthful! [laughs]

I saw this magazine on stands yesterday at Costco and I couldnt beleive how much they airbrushed Mariska. It is like the Faith Hill magazine where she looks so different than she does. I dont know why magazines keep doing this. I wont buy one when I can see the major airbrushing. But that is a personal choice. I love her and all she does.

I Love how up front Mariska is about how she had gestational diabetes it raises the profile of it, she should watch herself though a woman who has gestational diabetes has a good chance that by the time the child is 10 she will have full blown diabetes both my mother and myself did my brother was 6 and my son was 2.

Mariska is the oldest between claire and queen latifiah, and looks the prettiest. Mariska looks great for 43.
