Billy Bob Thornton: I sing 'Do-do-do-do-dora' in the shower

Like many parents, actor Billy Bob Thornton, 51, reveals he has an endless loop of children’s show theme songs playing in his head. In Billy Bob’s case, they also tend to make it into the shower with him.

They are usually songs from cartoons I watch with my daughter [Bella, 2], like the theme to ‘Dora The Explorer.’

I [also] like to sing Over the Rainbow — not the Judy Garland way, but the Jerry Lee Lewis way.

I think Billy Bob is an incredibly talented actor and director. I’ll have to admit that it seems like he’s milking the baby trend, though.

This is too funny. My daughter is three and my husband and I watch a lot of shows with her. He came home one day from a fishing trip with a buddy saying he was so embarrassed. I asked why. He said well I sitting there waiting for a bite when all of a sudden I started sing CLICK, TAKE A PIC (from Go Diego Go). The guy he was with laughed and said Diego and Dora huh?? LOL He too had a daughter and was glad he wasn’t the only man that had those songs in his head also.

I always sing the Doodlebops songs! as well as Little Einsteins, Jo Jo Circus….all the Playhouse Disney songs :)
My daughter is 2 1/2, and now she starts to sing them too, it’s fun to sit there with her and sing together while we watch the show :)
