Update: Usher's fiancee hospitalized for pregnancy complications

Update:  Usher has also spoken out to US magazine about the pregnancy scare, saying,

Everybody’s fine. Tameka and the baby are fine.

The magazine is reporting that Tameka actually checked into St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City on Friday due to cramping. If true, this would explain the sudden cancellation of the couple’s nuptials.

We had a scare. But, I am fine and the baby is fine.

Originally posted July 30th at 5 pm:Media Take Out is reporting that Tameka Foster, R&B singer Usher’spregnant fiancee, has been hospitalized due to pregnancy complications.Tameka is reportedly currently staying at an Atlanta area hospital,where she has been visited by Usher.  She and the baby are said to befine for now.

This comes only two days after the cancellation of the couple’s planned nuptials. Usher and Tameka’s first baby together, reportedly a boy, is due this fall.

If this is true, I wonder which came first, the complications or the wedding cancellation. It seems that either one could cause the other…

I would think the wedding was canceled due to the fact that Usher’s mom dislikes his fiance and refused to come to it abd also they were having disagreements over details about the wedding.

Renee I heard the same thing. If so perhaps she was very stressed over the cancellation and this just caused a minor complication. I wish her well and hope that the story about the mom isn’t true!

I wish Usher, Tameka, and the baby the absolute best, but there’s too much dramalama in his situation for me lol. Seems like it’s going to take a herculean effort to get this set straight and keep it there.

If she checked into the hospital Friday morning, I would imagine it was that, which precipitated the cancellation Saturday.

I hope everyone is well but the whole situation isn’t ideal for anyone especially with Usher’s mom and Godfather not speaking to him.They should probably wait to get marry.
