Before people go off on Jen for buying Violet so many pairs of Crocs, I have to say that I have bought my two year old three pairs and I have nowhere near the income that Jen and Ben must have. They are the best shoes I have found for the summer and I would buy more if I could!!!

It’s not their fault they have pictures taken there everytime they go.Garner may enjoy going there and really loves fresh food. If I lived close by to a place that sold fresh fruits, I would be there everyday

Not that i’m complaining but yeah that’s what I was going to say..they must really love going to the farmer’s market.. Then again if I had enough money to where i can stay home, I think I’d go to the farmer’s market all the time.. I mean they do have great produce. I’ve just never seen a celeb go the farmer’s market as much as Jen Garner. But hey whatever makes them happy.. Violet does look a lot like her mom, too cute.

Do you pay for these photos? If so, don’t you think the intrusion is a bit much? I’ll bet Jen wishes she could just do the mom thing without so much coverage of every mundane trip.

Sarah’s note: Of course we pay for them. It’s illegal not to. As for if we think it’s a bit much, we don’t post photos where the parents or children are crying, look angry, or the pics are taken on private property. Other than that, if the people are out in public in the Los Angeles or NYC area, they’re aware their photo is going to be taken and in magazines and on websites. Violet wasn’t even seen until she was four months old, they definitely know how to hide if they really want to, but they have to live their life at the same time.

We post whatever is available to us, as there’s an obvious interest. If people are for whatever reason not interested, it’s easy to scroll down or flip a page…

I go to my local Farmers’ Market three times a week–why shouldn’t Jen? It’s not up to her where she gets photographed. At least she’s just doing run-of-the-mill domestic activities and not hitting the red carpet every chance she gets. I will say, though, that while I appreciate that Jen is a normal, down-to-earth mom like the rest of us, if I knew I were going to be photographed, I’d do a teeny bit of grooming … Reese Witherspoon, for example, would be who I’d model myself after.

I like that she doesn’t care if she has make-up on and just goes all natural and looks so comfy. Its cool that she is so unlike most celebs.. I find it sooo refreshing!

I completely agree. Reese always looks polished and put together, but never overdone. I love seeing photos of her and her kids; I wish there were more here.

However, concerning not publishing photos taken on private property-there have been quite a few photos of Britney Spears’s sons taken in her backyard, no?

Sarah’s note: Not sure about others, but the recent ones I initially posted, and took them down after 2 hours when we found out they were taken in her backyard. We were originally under the impression they were from a park. The only time we will post something like that is if the celeb is aware and seems okay with it — for example, Naomi Watts waving and smiling at the paparazzi at her baby shower.

Jen probably wants to be photographed or, at the least, doesn’t mind. It lets her and studio execs know she’s still marketable. If we want to see pics of her, then we probably want to see her act, too.

CBB, thanks for your policy on not posting crying kids, angry people or pics of celebs on private property. It’s good to know someone is respectful that celebs are allowed to live their own lives!
