Third child for Casey Fossum of the Devil Rays

It’s a boy for Tampa Bay Devil Rays Casey Fossum and his wife, Kim.  Andrew Casey was born on Tuesday, July 24 at 6:08 p.m.  He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces.

The team’s manager Joe Maddon spoke to the new father and reported that,

Everything is fine. The baby’s fine, Kim’s fine. He’sgoing to join us Friday. She’s coming home from the hospital at somepoint [on Wednesday], so rushing him up here for a day game didn’t seemto be the right thing to do.

The starting pitcher and his wife’s older children include daughter Ava and son Aiden.
