Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie visit French adventure park with kids

Visitors to the Aventure-Parc in France’s Charente-Limousin region received quite a shock Monday when they found themselves waiting in line alongside the Jolie-Pitt brood.  The adventure park, which features tree-climbing, rope swings and other outdoor activities geared towards children, doesn’t garner the attention of French celebrities, let alone the attention of celebrities of ‘Brangelina’ caliber.  Said an employee:

It’s completely crazy to find yourself standing with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the most chased-after couple in the world in front of you.  Completely crazy.

According to sources, the couple arrived in a Mercedes SUV with three of their children, Maddox, 5 1/2, Pax-Thien, 3 1/2, and Zahara, 2 1/2, during the park worker’s lunch hour.  Although employees offered to waive the admission fee for the family, Angelina and Brad refused, ultimately staying an hour with their children.  Park operator Benjamin Gaultier said "to see Brad Pitt knocking around in a bouncy castle with his children [and] screaming like wild animals was like a hallucination."

The couple have a fourth child, Shiloh, 13-months.

So what is so incredibly special about them that they get an offer to get into the park for free?!
Sometimes the admiration and awe of celebrities fascinates me. I understand that these two people are famous, attractive, and will inevitably bring in customers for this particular park. But still, they should have to pay for things … just like all other people. I mean if anyone can afford it they can.
I have never really been a fan of “Brangelina” but I definitely have more respect for them now! I really admire the way they insisted they pay.

Well, Chrystal if you had read the original article, it said they wanted to waive the admission fee in exchange for pic of the couple with their kids or get autographs, and B&A said NO and paid the admission fee.

I like it so much that they reclined to get in for free because I think that it is ridiculous to offer free things to people who are outrageously rich.

I can just picture Brad and the children in a bouncy castle makes me smile!

Daphnee, I don’t dislike Brangelina, but I think I can explain to you why other people dislike them:
It’s admirable that they are helping to make the world a better place through their charity efforts, but “charity begins in the home.” Angelina is a home wrecker and isn’t woman enough to admit that she had even a small role to play in Jennifer Aniston’s marriage dissolution. Outwardly Jolie’s a humanitarian, but secretly she destroys homes. It’s counterproductive and hypocritical.

Brangelina is into hiding nowadays, i wonder why? Maybe it is because of a mighty heart. These two are very famous, but not that popular. I liked that they insist to pay. This life is strange, people who have the money and can pay, are always offered freebies.

Karine, I doubt Brad and Angelina are in hiding. A Mighty Heart may not have rocked the box office but it is a critically acclaimed movie with Oscar buzz for Angelina Jolie. I see that as a success. My guess is that we don’t see many pictures of them lately because they don’t have a movie to promote thus there isn’t a need to do any press. We’ll see a whole lot more of them come fall when both Brad and Angie have movies to promote. Also for a couple who you think “isn’t very popular” each sure does come out on top of the many popularity polls put out by both tabloid and legitimate media.

Polls does not mean anything, when one person can vote over and over. I do not jump on bandwagon, i say what i see for myself. Beyond the hype there is something wrong for these two , when you consider waitress the Keri Russell movie, and even sicko of Michael Moore and also evening in fewer theaters are making more than a mighty heart. Also Brad Pitt in Ocean a movie with Clooney and Damon , three big stars and still struggling to make some dent in the box office, it says more than a poll.I say it again you can be famous , but not popular. Paris Hilton is a big exemple.

They aren’t in “hiding.” They are on vacation in France with their kids. I’m not at all surprised that they turned down that offer of free admission to the park in exchange for photos. How ridiculous for those people to even make that suggestion!!
