Reader Mail: Sheila wins signed Chantal Kreviazuk CD

CBB reader Sheila D. from Kirkland, Quebec was one of 10 winners of an autographed CD from Chantal Kreviazuk, given away as prizes after our exclusive interview with the songstress in May.

Just wanted to write and thank you so much for the Chantal Kreviazuk CD, ‘Ghost Stories’, which I received in the mail today!I was having one of "those" days with the kids (ages 2, 4 and 6) and feeling particularly pudgy (I am 14 weeks pregnant with #4) when we checked the mail…and there it was!

We danced to it all afternoon and my "bad day" vibe just melted away. What a cool contest and what a cool artist to give you an interview and the autographed CDs to give away….so,  thanks so very much from the bottom of all of our hearts!

We passed her email on to Chantal, who said,

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I get the impression that people are simply sending “thank yous” now as a way to get themselves published on CBB. How is this “reader mail” relevant to the site? I think most of us come here to read news on celebrity babies and their families, not to read that someone’s ecstatic because they won something.

I was another lucky winner of the CD, and really enjoyed listening to it. I’m sure it will be well played at my place! Thanks again to Chantal for being so generous. It was really special to receive an autographed copy of one of her CDs.
