I am a longtime reader of CBB and have never contacted a staff member, let alone commented before, but I just want to say I love your (and everyone else’s!) work, especially your talk show entries. I know you’ve been writing them for some time, and I’ve always been impressed with your writing and the speed in which you post them. For instance, I watched Leno last night, showered, went online for one more round of web surfing before bed, and I knew a Victoria entry would already be up on CBB and it was!

I have to say that CBB is one of the rare sites (of anykind, not just blogs) to feature content on late-night talk shows, andthat’s a real treat! A lot of really great, funny, and revealing stuffis said on them, but it doesn’t get a lot of coverage unless it’s somebig announcement like Arnold announcing his candidacy or JenniferGarner slipping up on Violet’s sex. All of the sweet little anecdoteseveryone tells are overlooked, and because it’s late-night, most peoplewon’t be watching or even hear about them if it weren’t for CBB, sokudos on that too!
I also love that you remain objective and neutral, especially when youdo controversial stories like the Miller Duchovny sex one or anythingon John Travolta these days. I’ve always appreciated that about CBBsince I’m sure you all have your opinions on these things, but arestill respectful of the celebrities and kids and present the news in aprofessional manner. And I’m sure you’re too busy approving comments ofeverybody else’s opinion to offer your own anyway!
Speaking of comments, I think it’s great you guys have restated yourcomment policy and are enforcing stricter rules. I remember when it wasa "free-for-all" and that was insane, and you guys had to closecomments for a bit. I’ve never participated in comment discussionbecause I never wanted to get sucked into that vicious world. It’spretty unbelievable the things people say and I’m guessing they’re alot worse than what I see since you moderate them before publishing.Some people are just plain crazy, clueless, rude, take everything waytoo seriously, and think they know it all — offering "advice" orcorrecting you (some rather snidely), and I don’t understand that sinceyou guys are the ones doing all the work and giving them stuff to readand look at! I have to say those comments on Travolta and Brangelinaposts drive me crazy! I really can not begin to imagine what elsepeople have said about them or anyone else, and it’s good they’re foryour eyes only, even though they shouldn’t be for anyone’s.
Wow, I’ve really gone off on a tangent here and this has gotten really long! I’ll stop now! I hope this doesn’t get lost in your inbox and you get to read this because I love CBB and appreciate all of you guys’ work and efforts and wanted to let you know that, so keep it up!
