Laura Innes and daughter Mia

ER actress Laura Innes, 47, and her daughter Mia, 6, were spotted enjoying some ice cream over the weekend. Laura and husband David Brisbin also have a son, Cal, 17. After his premature birth in 1990, Laura was hospitalized for three months. When it came time to add to their family, David and Laura adopted Mia, who was a year old at the time, from China in 2002 — they’ve been open about their involvement in Families With Children From China.

Wow I think that’s the first time I see a picture of Laura and her daughter because she is so low key. Mia is a stunning little girl! And that’s funny how they both have the same expression in the third picture. And it’s really great to see how happy they are together
