Courtney Thorne-Smith expecting first child

Update: Courtney’s rep confirms the news.

Originally posted June 26th: Actress Courtney Thorne-Smith, 39, is expecting her first child. She and husband Roger Fishman will welcome the baby in January, exactly a year after they tied the knot.

She was on Rachel Ray’s talk show today and looked pretty thin. Obviously not showing yet and she didn’t mention she was preggy.

Congrats to her and her husband! I’ve been a fan since Melrose Place, and I know she has long wanted a child. To Doreen: I remember her being on Rachel Ray a few months ago, like in February, so it’s likely a repeat of that show, and she wasn’t pregnant than, so that is likely why she doesn’t look like it and doesn’t mention it..

I’m happy for her! We’re TTC at 39 and it’s not easy- that might be why she’s kept it quiet until now. I love her character on According to Jim and look forward to seeing how they’ll write her pregnancy in or write around it.
