Diana Krall says twins Dexter, Frank 'love music'

In a new interview singer Diana Krall says that the twin boys she welcomed with husband Elvis Costello in December — 7-month-olds Dexter Henry Lorcan and Frank Harlan James — have good dispositions, which must come in handy while the family tours in support of Diana’s latest album ‘From This Moment On.‘  According to Diana, motherhood ‘is great.’

The boys wake up, the first thing they do is smile at you.  It’s just fantastic.  They love music, they’ve been traveling with Elvis and I for the last month.

Trying to perform while also caring for twin boys is ‘a physical challenge,’ Diana admits, but the six months she took off following their birth was the longest the singer says she’s ever been away from the stage.

It’s definitely great to be back playing music because it’s my outlet, it’s how I express myself, through music…It’s good because I’m trying (to be a mom and a musician) equally well; I’m trying to do everything … Everything is really good.
