Introducing Petah Lucia DiFranco Napolitano

Songstress Ani DiFranco, 36, introduced her daughter Petah Lucia, now 5 months, on her website last Friday. Ani shares that although the photos are a few months old,

We could have tried to hold out for a Suri–style Vanity Faircover story, but we just couldn’t wait to share this cute little face. Enjoy!

Included are photos of Ani nursing her daughter and Petah alone. There’s a third photo in the extended post. Petah was born at home to Ani and music producer Mike Napolitano on January 20th, in Buffalo, NY.

This is one of the luckiest babies in the world, born to a parent who is really going to raise her in the most wonderful way. I love her name (my daughter is also named Lucia pronounced loo-sha), I wonder how she pronounces it. I also love the “Yo my booties”.

Congrats Ani! That baby is sooo lucky, way way luckier than having lame tom kat for parents,this kid will actually have a chance at seeing what life is really about so, rock on Ani! What a beautiful momma & daughter! You can be sure Ani’s gonna raise Petah in the child’s best interests. No dumb superficial expectations here! I’m a little puzzled by a previous post- Yes Ani is bi but that doesn’t mean anything more than, as Ani puts it, “I have no criteria for sex or race. I just wanna hear you voice, just wanna see your face.” ( In or Out,1995)

Actually tomKat Ani didnt hold ou longer. Petah was born in Jan2007 & seen in May 2007.

Suri was born in April & seen in Oct 2006 vanity fait.
