Princes William and Harry pay tribute to their mother

On what would have been their mother Diana’s 46th , Prince William, 25, and Prince Harry, 22, hosted a concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sunday, in honor of their late mother. William told the crowd:

This evening is about all that my mother loved in life: her music, her dance, her charities and her family and friends, and to remember all the good things about her because she’s not here to defend herself when she gets criticized.

I watched the whole concert on VH1 – I think the boys did a fabulous job with that concert. All of those different elements really went surprisingly well together, it was all planned very nicely. And their mother would be very, very proud of them.

I still remember the night my mother called me to tell me the princess was dead and i still can’t believe it. It was the same feeling i had when john and bobby kennedy and john jr.mother teresa,john paul 2 and mlk were killed. there are certain people in your lifetime that are so memorable and their deaths are so untimly. her beauty,kindness,charity,good works and everything she stood for were the best thing that ever happened to England and the royal family. If only Charles realized it. To see how wonderful her sons are, as all of ours, not perfect but like her so genuine.
God Bless Princess Diana. We only wish she was with us longer. The royal family could take the title “your royal highness” from her in formality, however, she will always be the one who owns that title most of all. No one has her class!! God bless the princes’ William and Harry for honoring and not forgetting their beautiful and loving mother. She is looking down and will be waiting for them

I still tear up over Diana’s death… William and Henry grew into absolutely charming, intelligent, and caring young men and are carrying on her legacy… she would be so so proud. What a fantastic tribute to their mother.
