I have to ask this question: Why does a Mom need a nanny to walk with one child? I could understand if there were 2 or 3 of them, but 1 kid?
Everytime I’ve seen Courtney with Coco, the nanny is there.
Sarah’s note: In the other photos from this set, David and Courteney seem to have friends over, because there’s 4 adults plus the nanny. Maybe they wanted her to entertain Coco while the guests were there?

I feel bad, but I have never seen what is so cute about her… her face is a little, well, homely?

She looks like her mom.

Coco is a little cutie. I have never seen Courtney out and about with her without a nanny, relatives or friends to help. She doesn’t look like she’s a handful to control. Courtney should be confident in her abilities as a mother to have the odd outing without a nanny.

I know it’s been said, and I’m sure there are reasons…but I wonder why a nanny when Courtney is there with Coco? I don’t know if I’d like the luxury of a nanny…but Coco is adorable!!!

I often have the same thoughts when I see people bring their nanny out with them. But then I imagine, what if my sister or close friend offered to accompany me everwhere we went just to help me with my child, that would be the greatest gift ever! To take care of the little stuff and let me be mom. Maybe others shouldn’t be judged just because they can hire someone to do this.

I just love Courtney and I think she is a hands on mom, butI also don’t get the nanny thing. Coco’s outfit is so cute, maybe her auntie Jen bought it for, not that her mom didn’t, but I just think Courtney lucks a sensible dressing style. Isn’t Jen her godmother( please correct me if I’m wrong). I just hope that one day Jen has kids, they’ll be lucky to have her as a mom. They will also be cuties.
Coco is also my fave celeb baby followed by Violet.

This baby looks so much like my best friend when she was small! I automatically think of my best bud when I see her, and I find that I attribute aspects of my friend’s personality to little Coco.

Isabel-
I completely agree with you! I have seen her a million times in pictures, even beside her parents and I just don’t see it! … I guess she took random genes from both of them!
She is a cute little thing though!

I may be able to explain the nanny thing. When I worked and had a nanny, she was living with us full time. She chose to come along with us to the park, etc… I never looked at it as I couldnt handle 1 child alone, my husband and I enjoyed her company! Also, being a star, maybe its a safety issue, who knows.

if i was a celebrity, and could afford a nanny, i’d have one with me at all times!! someone might try to kidnap the child or what if the parent has to use the restroom? it would be worth it to me to have a nanny with me for my child’s safety.
i see absolutely nothing wrong with it!

I remember this conversation taking place after the Last post about Coco, Courteney, and the Nanny. I don’t think that it has anything at all to do with not being able to ‘handle’ her child.
I was a nanny for six years, and I did volunteer to go with the family on their outings, as Jordyn pointed out. I loved every minute I spent with the family, and going with them was not just part of the job, it was fun for me too. I got to socialize with the parents, and sometimes their friends, as well as play with the kids and be an extra pair of hands.

I was a nanny for a long time & I have to say that not all outings was I in my “official” capacity, my employer also treated me as family, not just hired help. All family gatherings included me as a guest even when I wasn’t working. So maybe their relationship is similar with their nanny.

Really people, who cares if Courteney has a nanny! We have no idea what goes on in her life behind closed doors. It annoys me how instead of commenting positively on the fact that mum and daughter and nanny are out walking on the beach, in the fresh air, people are commenting on the fact that there is a nanny there! She could not be ‘working’, but just enjoys spending time with Coco, who is a gorgeous child. It is not like we are seeing Coco and the nanny out alone all the time – Courteney is there most of the time!

Anyone know the maker of her dress? I love it! She’s a doll…

I don’t want to judge Courteney b/c I would love to have a nanny every once in a while for the extra help but personally I think she’s depressed or going through some midlife crisis. She went through all that invitro for years to get pregnant, she finally has Coco but it may have been too overwelming for her. Perhaps ppd. “Friends” is off the air, her new show isn’t doing well, and she’s having problems in her marriage. She has publicly talked about not being happy about getting older. Well more power to her if she realizes that it’s too much and she needs the help of a nanny.

I have recently began to reasearch about Courteney Cox Arquette, David Arquette and Coco Riley Arquette. I was really surprised when I read this stuff people have written here. About this nanny thing. I guess I can partly understand why Courteney wants to have her around non-stop. Courteney must be very busy and she has to have someone watching on Coco while she is working. Coco must have gotten strongly attached to her nanny and she just doesn’t want to go anywhere without her. Thought I still think that there should be times when Courteney is gonna be alone with Coco. That way they can really develop the mother-daughter relationship. I also think that the presence of nanny should be slowly but surely reduced. ’cause Coco is gonna have a lot of trouble when she grows up. She is gonna be a very dependant person, and she is gonna have a hard time figuring out her own way through life. And I also want to say that I think that Courteney would handle the role of being a non-nanny mother. David has also shown a good ability of fatherhood.
