Corey Feldman on fatherhood
Eighties teen idol Corey Feldman, now 35, recently spoke to People magazine about fatherhood and son Zen Scott, 2 1/2. He and Corey Haim will star in A&E’s new reality show, The Two Coreys.
On fatherhood: [It's] a reason to smile every day, that’s what it is. Whereas I used to get depressed or neurotic or dwell onthings, I see my son’s bright eyes and smile in the morning, andsuddenly, I don’t feel like I’m depressed anymore. There’s nothing tobe depressed about when you’ve got that.
More kids?: My whole theory is, do it right the first time. Make sure it works, andif you get through that period, you did well and won points, then youcan think about a new addition. I think we’re good.
On if his son will be in the show: It’s loosely based in reality. In the show, [Susie andI] don’t have a son, although in actuality we do. That’s one of thosethings that we opted to keep out of it because we don’t really want toexpose him to that kind of madness. It would just be out of line.
