Drea de Matteo believes she and longtime boyfriend Shooter Jennings will welcome a daughter in December, but what is the basis for her prediction?

Because I’m getting wider instead of pointier. I’m a beast!

Mark at the Boston Globe tells us that it’s most definitely a girl — grandma spilled the beans! Donna de Matteo, a playwright with a show currently running in Gloucester, MA, told the paper,

Drea’s job now is to withstand these nine months, and have a beautiful baby girl.

That’s nice. But I was hoping for a boy to name Walon :)

I think the CBB needs to learn the difference between “sex” and “gender;” confusing the two is a very common mistake here.

Sex refers to biological differences: sex organs, hormones, chromosomes, etc, while gender refers to the socially constructed roles, characteristics and behaviors that are considered appopriate for men and women.

A baby in the womb has a sex, not a gender.

Learn how to spell! It’s Waylon, NOT walon.
