Oscar Jackman injured after falling from tree

Oscar Jackman, the 7-year-old son of actor Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, reportedly broke his arm last week in Australia after falling from a tree.  Oscar was not on the set of the epic Australia – in which Hugh stars alongside Nicole Kidman – at the time of the incident.  A spokesperson for the film refused to comment other than to clarify that Hugh’s shooting schedule for the film was not affected.

Hugh and Deborra are also parents to 23-month-old Ava Eliot.

Please pass along our best wishes for little Oscar and to his parents. Sounds like he was having fun being a boy :-) I hope his mum Debborah is doing fine after the spill; as a mom, I know how heart stopping it is to have your child get hurt.
All our Love to the Jackman’s from us parents in the U.S.A. and G-d Bless.

I broke my leg once. My left leg below the knee. It wasn’t that bad actually, a lot of people got to sign my cast (my friends drew a lot of pretty pictures on it). I was 6 years old. What have you people broken?

Everything will be fine. Hes a boy and you know what they say boys will be boys. In no time he will be back out there. I’m just now believing that quote because I have four boys and they are very active.

My get well wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery goes out to him and his family.
