Rumor: Hugh Hefner to be a dad again at 81?

Holly Madison, the ‘#1′ girlfriend of 81-year-old Hugh Hefner, is sparking rumors that a baby Hef is on the way after her behavior at the Monte Carlo Television Festival this week.  Holly, 27, reportedly abstained from alcohol at a series of parties she attended at the event and spent much of her press tour — designed to promote Hugh’s new reality-tv show The Girls Next Door — talking about babies.

I want to have kids with Hef in the next year or so and when that happens I just want it to be me and him.

Hugh has four children already from previous marriages:  Christie, 54, David, 51, Marston, 17 and Cooper, 15.

Anyone have any recent pics of Marston or Cooper?

- preesi on

I recently saw an E! interview with him and he said that Holly is the love of his life. He said that if she wants to have his child then he’d oblige, so this is a believable post to me.

- sarawara on

First I want to say how much lovelier Holly is with a natural look (as in the CBB pic above) that with all that lacquer she wears on Girls Next Door. 2nd, congrats to her and Hef if this is true. She has been wanting to be pregnant for a long time from what she says. Although I don’t know how supportive I can be of the fact that a baby may never know their father well because he may not reach the kid’s 5th birthday. On one hand this seems terribly selfish. Now I’m all over the place with this post, sorry!

- Daphnee on

Thats disgusting. I don’t care how much he wants a child there should be laws against that.

- Natasha on

EW! EW! EW! That’s all I can say!

- Lynn on

All I can think of is the episode of Sex and the City when Samantha dated the old man with the saggy buns!

- J-Lin on

I love their show but it’s too bad Hugh Hefner is probably not going to get to see it grow up; but congrats if true.

- Summer on

Even if you’re a guy and still able to make a baby, I honestly believe there is a certain age when you should just stop having kids:

1. There’s a much higher risk of the child being born with birth defects/disabilties.
2. It’s selfish. Are you going to be there for your kids’ high school graduation and your grandkids?

Sick. Sick. Sick. Yuck.

- Katie on

old man shrivels..ewww!!!! however, the crazy inside me is curious as to what it is like to be with someone, so, um, old. i hate to say it, but if there was ever a sex tape released, i would probably watch:0

this is going to turn into another Anna Nicole and the old man story, only this time with a baby.

- lala on

Sorry but that is gross. I can see maybe a guy in his 50′s having a baby, but 81 is way too old.

- raquel on

It seems that these rumors come about every month or so, I really hope it’s true this time. She seems to really be completely smitten with Hef, and he with her. On the other hand, if the rumor is true this time and Holly gets her way, I’ll be sad to see Bridget and Kendra go.

- Jordan on

Congratulations to both, especially Holly, if this is true! I absolutely adore Holly and think she will be a wonderful mother =)

- Erin on

I just love how ya’ll all ASSUME he won’t be around for too much of his childs life. And children with parents of what ya’ll deem normal “age” are guaranteed to have their parents?

So what do you say to my 3 year old nephew who lost his mother when he was 2mons old. His mother was 19 years old. His father is still living (my brother) but his mother is GONE and she was of the ripe YOUNG age of 19!

God’s decision is his decision. If he doesn’t want Hef to have children with this woman she will not conceive, but if so, than it is HIS will. No matter how gross one thinks it is.

- latisha on

why is it people always use the phrase ‘God’s Will’ when it suites their interests, yet if it is something ‘bad’ they blame it on the Devil???

just curious…

- lala on

You really are a judgemental lot! It’s their life, not yours.

And congrats if the news is true.

- Hilde on

I agree with the above post, having a baby at 81 is just wrong! Why should they take the risk of having a baby with (possibly severe) birth defects just because they are “smitten”. That is so selfish and irresponsible! Its not about the money, is it????????????????????????????

- sandy on

Well said Latisha. While I personally wouldn’t want to “get with” an 81-year-old ;-) , the guy doesn’t act like he’s at death’s door and he gets the women, so what’s the problem? Children don’t always have the luxury of having two parents and while it’s sad, it’s very common these days. Anyone at any age can die at any time.

- TwinMom on

I’m sure that the age has crossed both of their minds.. how can it not when he’s 81?

I find it very difficult to believe she hasn’t thought of the possible consequences in that one.

From the little I’ve seen of her, I like Holly and wish her the best.

- lis on

That is a beautiful photo of Holly!

- ava on

I pray this isn’t true. How selfish can you get? Anyone who supports such a thing are idiots. This would not be fair to Holly or the child. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

- Melissa on

Some of you are very mean.We are human.Their shouldn’t be an age limit on when you should stop having kids.Yeah their is a risk for problems but thats their choice to make if they want to have them so be it.She and he are truly in love with one another one so he needs to just focus on her and stop having those plural girlfriends.

- tan on

I love reading this site and this is the first time that I have posted. I just have to say that I’m shocked at how offensive soem of these comments are. Surely if this site teaches anythign its that families come in all shapes and sizes. If a man and woman love each other why shouldnt they have a baby? Age should not come into it – its a sad world when people critize Holly and Hef when that baby will have security and loving parents where there are so many children born into a situation lacking in security. I know that even with an older father a child will still be loved and maybe the father wont be around as long as younger fathers but they will still be loved and even younger fathers can die and miss out on their childs lives. I really think some of the people making comments should open their minds and realize how offensive they can be.

- sarah on

Latisha:

That was a weak repsonse to a valid a argument I gave. I’m NOT trying to start a fight.

To Twinmom:

I know children don’t always have the luxury of growing up with two parents. But in some cases it can be helped. Like it could have been in this one (that’s if the rumors are true).

…And that’s all I have to say on this matter.

- Katie on

why oh why would you want to sleep with someone who is old enough to be your grandpa??

- Shawna on

I don’t see this as the same thing as Anna Nicole, and I think its unfair to compare the two. Yes the age difference is the same but although it may not make sense, she truely DOES seem to love him.

I do think it is a bit selfish to have a kid at 81, although I do think he seems to be an excellent health, no matter how healthy he is I think its very very realistic to believe that there is a good chance he will not be here in less than 10 years.

- Diana on

Wow…I have to agree with sarah on this one. Have any of you ever watched the show? Their relationship is actually one of the more normal I’ve seen in Hollywood. They genuinely care and love each other so I don’t know who you think you are to say they are selfish! If this is true I am more than happy for them because I know either way, that child will be loved and cared for! As for his age…maybe it’s not for you but it doesn’t seem to be a problem for them so maybe you should just follow the classic adage: “If you don’t have anything nice to say…”

- jackie on

Why is it that when women in their 50s and 60s have children, no one brings up the health risked posed to those children but rather talks about how wonderful it is, but when an older man is involved, people quickly pass judgement as it being a ‘selfish’ decision?

- Hillary on

Hillary- Personally I don’t think ANYONE should be having kids in their 50s and 60s. I don’t hear a lot of people congratulating women who do, but I guess its true. Either way, I don’t approve of it.

- Natasha on

How are they planning to explain his
polygamous relationship to their kid?
If Holly does have a baby, I hope Hef gets
rid of the other girlfriends.

- KarenC on

Congrats to them…if it’s true. She says on the show quite often that she wants to have babies. It is weird though that his YOUNGEST Older kid (David) could be his youngests (Cooper) grandparent…weird lol

- ericka on

hmm well besides the age difference doesn’t he see other women on the side? I don’t follow this guy but I remember him on a show with five girls recently and he had sexual relations with most of them but was more serious with one or two. That should be the only concern. If you want to have kids at 81, so be it. If you want to sleep with an old man, so be it! I just think he needs to committ to one women and maybe even marry her.

like I said I don’t follow him so if I’m wrong on what I saw I apologize. Either way good luck to them.

- J.M. on

I read or heard someone say once that in their opinion Bridgit & Kendra are just for show (to perpetuate Hef’s Playboy image) but his real relationship is with Holly, which could be true. (Especially since on the show Bridget & Kendra each have their own rooms, while Holly more or less rooms with Hef most episodes.)

While I don’t agree with polygomous relationships, perceived or otherwise, I suppose if Holly wants to have a baby with Hef that’s up to her. Tony Randall fathered two healthy kids in his late 70s, so that doesn’t mean that Hef couldn’t father a final child who’s healthy.

What I wonder now though is what does Huigh’s two teenage sons think of their dad and his house? Especially all of female “friends.” (I’m sure those would be two boys who’d be far from reluctant to visit their dad on a weekly/daily custody visit! lol! Do the boys still live next door like they used to?)

- Autumn on

Hillary – People don’t comment on women having children in their 50 and 60s??? Are you kidding?? And we are not talking about a 50 or 60 year old man, we are talking about an 80 year old man, I don’t see how that is equivalent??

- Diana on

I personally think it’s gross and dangerous for a woman to have a baby in her 50′s and 60′s… not so much for a man to father one. After all, his part ends in bed! ;-) The woman has to go through a lot more physical trauma. There’s a reason why it becomes very difficult to get pregnant after a certain point in your life. It’s because you’re not meant to.

Holly needs to get herself some nipple shields. LOL I hate it when that happens at work!

- Kim on

First of all, its not Heff that wants the baby its Holly. Second, he’s a pretty spry 81 year old, he’s more active than my 65 year old grandmother. He could live to see 101, and he has the money to do so.

Third, I don’t think she is pregnant. She ALWAYS talks about wanting to get married and have a baby. Frankly, I kinda hope she is cause then maybe she’ll hush. But I’d hate to see her kick the other girls out. She is and has been since the title was handed over to her by her predicessor, his primary girlfriend.

As for those who comment on his polyamorous relationship, and its effect on the baby. Well if he dies befor the kid is 10, then how would the kid know? And if not, big deal! Its a polyamorous relationship, different strokes for different folks. Those hxc mormons do just fine.

- margaux on

age should matter when it comes to having a child. let’s all be realistic, even if he lives till 100, not likely, the baby would lose a father at age 18/19! how sad. i’m 29 and don’t know what i would do without my parents. it’s very selfish.

- danielle on

I JUST WONDER ABOUT KENDRA AND BRIDGET, DO THEY WANT KIDS? I THINK IT IS FINE ABOUT HOLLY, BUT ARE THEY GOING TO WASTE THIER LIVES.

- ANNE CORNELIUS on

I have read repeatedy that there were concerns of birth defects due to Hefs age. There have been studies showing that birth defects are derived from the women giving birth at older ages, due to complications carying the child/children. I think that the first person to write that was just looking for an excuse to justify what they think is inappropriate. Honestly it is not your lives it is your opinions and everyone is being very harsh for having a personal opinion. I think it is wonderful he has been a FABULOUS father thus far and Holly is very nurturing so more power to the both of them!
