Maggie's Bag

With everyone talking about Maggie Glyllenhall’s public breastfeeding of baby Ramona Sarsgaard, 8 months, you might have missed the buzz about her gorgeous leather diaper bag. Hanging from her stroller bar at a recent al fresco session, was a Hansel Diaper Bag by Not Rational ($595).

Notrationalhansel Leave it to Maggie, who is casually so casually cool and hip, to sport this leather baby bag that is a darling amongst actresses who value style but who won’t compromise comfort, functionality or craftsmanship.  The unstructured and stuffable heirloom-quality bag is available in a variety of smooth, wrinkled, patent and naked leathers. Each one is handcrafted and extremely well thought out. Side snapping straps are handy for clipping on keys, and pacifiers (the bag is sold with a pacifier attached) and can be used to attach the bag to a stroller, as Maggie has done with her Bugaboo. There are five large outer compartments that hold bottles and cell phone, and a large inner compartment with a zippered pocket for your valuables. A leather changing pad, which easily wipes clean, is included.

Not Rational Diaper bags are very comfortable to wear on the shoulder, thanks to adjustable shoulder straps (which can also be re buckled to hang the bag from a stroller) or messenger style with the adjustable cross body strap. A version of the bag called is also sold without the changing pad and is a favorite amongst dozens of celebrities who are not yet parents, but who can appreciate a gorgeous bag.

Other celebrity moms who own Not Rational bags include Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie and Christy Turlington.
