Amy Michelle Diaper Bags: Simply Stunning
Ever had a diaper bag stop you in your tracks ? Amy Michelle‘s Orchid diaper bag did. Their new chocolate-colored fabrics on their Orchid, Azalea and Tulip Bags are delicious (and calorie-free)! I checked out their delicious Orchid Bag in Chocolate/Periwinkle (pictured on the left), which is to die-for-delightful! This classic triangle bag in a rich chocolate nylon with matching leather trim and dual shoulder straps, definitely does not scream DIAPER BAG!
Amy Michelle co-founders, Michelle Herbert and Amy Wright, make their bags for baby and mama. There is a section for each of you! Which really flipped my lid because I am so used to just throwing my stuff in my diaper bag’s pockets. The result, I’m also looking around for my stuff in the various pockets and coming up with toys or bibs instead. It’s nice to have a space to call my own!
The Mama’s section has an attachable hook for your keys, pockets for your cellphone, wallet and even a zippered part for your makeup. The baby’s section has so many internal and two external pockets at the ends (fit the wide-necked bottles perfectly), a leather pacifier holder that can be opened quickly, huge pockets for diapers and wipes containers. The zip down changing station with removable wet bag was my favorite feature. You can also throw the changing pad in the wash!! That’s the first time I have ever seen that.
I’m a big fan of this bag and the Amy Michelle Collection. Besides being beautiful, it is so practical (which is important to me). Stroller attachments can be added for $15 (a bargain!)
The Orchid is available in chocolate with periwinkle lining, olive green with raspberry lining and black with raspberry lining. The Azalea is available in chocolate with periwinkle lining, black with green lining, raspberry with a pink lining, lilac with green lining and olive green with raspberry lining. The Tulip bag – a classic messenger bag/backpack is available in black /classic yellow and white daisy print, blush pink with a blush pink lining, and chocolate with periwinkle lining. There’s one more bag not to miss, the Daisy Messenger/Backpack ($135). So versatile, go from messenger bag to backpack with a switch of the straps. You’ll also love the big daisy on the black nylon.
