There’s nothing wrong with moms being stylish and not wearing sweats all the time and having a more put-together “diaper bag” or large purse. I’m kind of sick of people acting like that’s vain or odd. If dressing down makes you happy, great. If dressing down makes you happy, great. If putting more effort into your appearance makes you happy, great. To each her own.

Note to Ms. Freedman, still a loyal NW reader I see, the Beckhams did say they don’t have nannies because they didn’t have one AT THE TIME. They only got a nanny just before they moved to Spain.
