Myleene Klass stopped by Friday Night with Jonathan Ross last week to promote her new album, Myleene’s Music for Romance, and talked briefly about her pregnancy and how she’s preparing (or not) for the birth. The singer, who’s expecting a daughter in September with fiance Graham Quinn, says she’s loving pregnancy now that she’s out of the first trimester.
The first three and a half, four months were hell. Never felt so ill. And you’re not allowed to get any help from anyone because you’re not allowed to tell anybody. I’ve never felt so bad. I literally used to go green and have hot flashes. In fact a policeman said I might have had a heavy night when I was being sick in the street.
Discussing breast milk, Jonathan informs Myleene that it’s very sweet and could be added to cereal, to which she reveals,
My dad used to have it in his tea.
Myleene, who’s already traveled to 14 countries with her bump, has decided to wing it throughout the pregnancy and just take everything as it comes.
I haven’t done a single class because I’ve decided to do whatever the women do in other countries – it just seems to kick in, so I’m hoping my body will tell me. I didn’t even know I was pregnant and I was eating oranges.
She’s not going to pay heed to any of the advice she’s received either, especially one that suggested she do her best cow impression during labor.
I recently got told that during the labor I should moo, which is a new one on me. Apparently it soothes the baby and helps the mother. So if people are giving that kind of advice, it’ll get very confusing, so I’ve decided, ‘No, mummy knows best.’
