Kerry Katona's early labor splash

English pop singer Kerry Katona‘s husband, Mark Croft, recently told the story of when she went into early labor. Mark said,

After Kerry’s waters had broken, I made sure Kerry got a towel before getting in my car as she was all wet. It was pouring out. It was mad! She was using nappy things throughout her pregnancy – Kerry was peeing if she so much as sneezed – so I made her put one on before she got in the car. They’re like incontinence pads.

We assume Mark is just talking about pantiliners!

The couple have a 4 month old daughter named Heidi.

If my husband talked in public about me needing to wear diapers for incontinence and told people he was “mad” that my amniotic fluid got all over his car, we’d be getting a divorce.

Her husband sounds like a total jerk! The woman is about to give birth to his baby and all he can think of is that his car seat is getting wet? Klassy.

Well, she picked a real winner. Leave it to Kerry to marry a classless loser and think he’s Prince Charming. I feel so bad for her daughters, especially Molly and Lilly, who live with her, don’t see their father often, and will have to read all the lies Kerry has spread about him when they’re older.

PSB, While I agree that the man has no class, I do think I should stick up for the poor sod and point out that he said that IT was mad (not HE was mad), meaning that the rain and the whole situation was crazy and hectic. Keep in mind that the man is British, and they have different sayings/idioms.

Definitely a case of too much information. I would be very very angry with my husband if he gave out that sort of info. To be fair, we don’t know the context and he may have been joking and not intending to sound so annoyed but still way too much info!

“it was mad” just means that he wasnt expecting it and came as a bit of a shock to him.

im sure kerry wouldnt mind him saying that sort of stuff, she doesnt exactly hold back when it comes to giving out information herself.

Ha ha, typical guy.
I don’t think it’s a big deal, really. Just because her water broke doesn’t mean she was in mass amounts of pain yet. It takes two seconds to grab a towel and I don’t think that two seconds put her in danger of any sort.
