WAHOOOOOOOOOO more of my favorite toddler and my favorite family! I’m expecting my first & have a question – no offense. What’s with carrying the blanket around everywhere? Wouldn’t that teach your baby to get all attached to their blanket? When their tiny, that’s fine. But by age 2 or 3, they should be able to leave the blankie at home. Just wondering so don’t jump down my throat here.

Sometimes kids get attached to things no matter how hard you try to get them not too. I had the same mindset as you before I had kids but sometimes its just not in your control. I’ve found that its easier and healthier to let kids grow out of their attchments in their own time , instead of forceing them into it. Violet is still very young still and will probably want her blankie for at least another year.

Morgan- She is NOT pregnant! She herself said in a recent Marie Claire interview that she and Ben will NOT be having a baby this year, as she wants to concentrate on work! I must ask: Why, oh, why, do people continue with the pregnancy rumors even after Jen herself clearly stated that there will be NO Garner-Affleck babies this year? Could somebody please give me an answer?

Well, if you think about it this way…she said not this year (2007). If she happens to be pregnant(not saying whether she is or isn’t!), if she were 2 months along…for instance..that leaves 7 months to go. This is mid-June….that would mean a Jan. 2008 baby…that isn’t this year..that’s next! LOL!

Anonymous, if you really want the very simple answer to your question, it is that-shock!-people get pregnant when they are not expecting or planning to. So unless Ben and Jen are staying celibate this year and plan to have sex only to procreate, there is a chance they will get pregnant this year, if they aren’t already. And unless you are Jen’s OB/GYN, I don’t know why you feel comfortable making such a declarative statement regarding whether Jen is pregnant right now or not.

Gosh, I love this family! I am a single mom and I spend oodles of time doing things with my 2 year-old daughter. I can’t imagine doling out tasks to a nanny, like many stars seem to do. I love that Jennifer and Violet are like a normal, loving, happy and so well-balanced family! Thanks for posting these pics-I know some people get tired of seeing the same families, but I will never get tired of them!

Violet is looking more and more like her mother but at first I saw her as a young baby I thought she looked a lot like her uncle, Ben’s brother Casey Affleck.

Lauren- The reason I made such a statement is because Jen HERSELF has stated that she won’t be getting pregnant this year. I also take that to mean that she and Ben are using some type of birth control to make sure they don’t get pregnant. Anyway, I understand that unplanned pregnancies DO happen. Mainly I just feel bad for Jen that people have to constantly speculate over whether or not she is pregnant, especially if she is isn’t. That is why I am always quick to point out that she herself has said that she is not planning a pregnancy this year.

I understand and agree with that. There have been rumors about Jen being pregnant again for a year now, and I feel bad that she constantly has people thinking she’s pregnant just because she’s not quite as thin as she used to be (she’s still in great shape, but she had a rock solid body on Alias). I don’t think she’s pregnant right now either, but who knows?

Charity- EXACTLY! She DID say that, since having Violet, she always looks two months pregnant. People seem to forget that, though, and assume there she really is pregnant. Poor lady has a little bit of a post-baby belly left from Violet and people assume she’s pregnant? I feel for her.
