He is too cute! He looks like his brother, who looks like both mum and dad, but JJ looks more like Britney than he does Kevin.

Britney seems to be more apt now to let the paps get a shot of him. I wonder if she is going to take him out a bit more now.

I don’t think Britney lives her life for Paris Hilton. She also would go daily to shops and The Ivy with him if she truly wanted attention. It’s summer and she’s out at the pool a lot and takes the kids. Stop trying to find fault in everything she does! His adorable. He looks like her.

You are finding fault if you think she’s using her kid for attention. If she wanted to show off the kid for attention she could go take him to a public park. Having your picture taking from afar while on vacation or in your own back yard is hardly begging for it. If she didn’t take Jayden out people would call her a bad mother.

What I don’t get is that SP was photographed from day 1 and she had no problems. Was it because of all the controversy that surrounded her and the baby that she decided this time around she was going to keep things a bit more private? If anything hiding your baby makes people want to see him even more. Meaning more paparazzi in your face all the time bc the person who produces the first photos will make the big bucks!!
I agree though she does like the attention and nobody can tell me otherwise. However her little boys are adorable and look very healthy. SP was always a chunky baby but Jayden appears to be just as big (maybe bigger) then he was! Very adorable.

is it possible that she just wanted to keep him to herself after all the criticism with Sean? And now that he’s getting a little older, it’s harder for her to do that. I don’t think it’s necessarily that calculated – she simply decided not to wave him in front of the cameras for as long as she could.

I don’t know why either JM. Nobody has asked her why she kept Jayden hidden and not sean preston but alot of people assume it’s because she doesn’t want Kevin getting anymore money if the pictures end up in a magazine. But their marriage is over so I don’t think Britney would owe him any money since they are divorced. Maybe she kept Jayden hidden because she already gets alot of flak from the mistakes she made with Sean. When I saw Britney on tv in an interview I noticed that she didn’t want to talk much about her kids, (this is back when she was defending she and kevin’s marriage)

I find it hilarious that when she was keeping Jayden “hidden” from the paps everyone berated her for being a bad mother because she always kept her baby under a blanket and something *must* be wrong with him if she won’t show him off like Sean. Yet, now that she seems to have conceded and is now not shy about bringing him out for everyone to see, she is again berated. Reminds me of Angelina Jolie. Nothing that Britney ever does when it comes to her children will ever be good enough.
How is a mother looking for attention when she goes on vacation with her two sons, takes them to the pool, and afterwards wraps one in a towel to dry him off while some psycho paparazzi hide in the bushes taking photos, looking for attention? It’s the same thing as I said before. If she only took Sean to the pool, or went on vacation all by herself without the boys she would be put down. We finally see her out doing something normal with her son Jayden and “she’s looking for attention”. That must mean that Jennifer Garner and Ben look for attention when they take Violet to the park countless times every week and are always photographed. They know the paps will be there but they go anyway. Or when Apple Martin is taken to the farmer’s market countless times by mom or grandma Blythe. They know they’ll be photographed, yet they go anyway. They must be looking for attention too right? What about Gwen Stefani who never steps out without looking like a million bucks with her hair and make-up done and she’s toting Kingston? Is she looking for a photo-op? No, of course not because Britney’s different than all those other celeb moms. She should just stay inside with her nanny.
I’m happy to see Britney out with her boys and getting on with life. They’re both adorable, chubby, little guys.

Jayden has the facial features of a child with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS). I wonder if this is why she kept him hidden so long?

I watched a show awhile back about the paparazzi. Celebrities do not have to look for the Pap’s because the Paparazzi literally follow some celebrities around. This is especially true of someone like Britney Spears. As other posters have said, she is criticized for keeping them totally out of the spotlight and yet when she takes them out swimming she is criticized for that. They were swimming for heavens sake, it’s not like she took them to a movie premiere.
I am certainly glad that when I was a young mom I did not have the paparazzi following me. My kids hair got messed up, sometimes they whined to be held or put in a stroller, sometimes they got dirty and my middle daughter had a hard time giving up her pacifier. My girls are now teenagers and honor students. All the little stuff did not make any difference in how they are turning out. I think people are really harsh when it comes to celebrity Mom’s. They are just young Mom’s who have real kids.

What facial features are those? The other pictures he alos looked like a normal baby. His face looks like a normal baby to me. I’ve seen plenty of drug & alchol addicted babies & you couldn’t tell by looking at them.
His eyes look lighter than SPF’s. He’s so chubby & cute.

Well said Jessica. People eat up Violet and Jennifer at the park pictures, but these pictures taken at Britney’s home and she’s looking for attention. I will never understand the double standards people have.
Exactly lanie. I don’t get why it’s so hard for people to understand why she kept him hidden, going through depression, rehab and divorce added with everything else that happened with Sean before Jayden. Kevin actually did say she wanted something for herself. Everyone always ignores that.
People need to stop with the FAS stuff as well. You can’t tell from pictures for one thing. Especially not pictures that aren’t of a full face shot. Not to even mention some “features” are just genetic. Britney has droopy eyes, her sister has a thin upper lip. Doesn’t mean they have FAS.

People are extra critical of Britney because she has shown repeatedly that she’s an immature, irresponsible parent and has endangered her children’s lives a few times.
Perhaps that is behind her now but most folks are still a bit leery of her and most likely expect her to continue with that behaviour.

Bravo Yoga daisy! I totally agree with you. Ever since Britney left rehab she has been somewhat normal so good for her. I hope she stays away from the clubs, smoking, and other disruptive behavoir she used to have.

He does resemble a child w/ Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Just type in google.com, then do a search for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. There is a white picture that shows a great illustration of fas. I think that she may have been exposed to alcohol in pregnancy. I just hope that the baby does not have any behavioral problems.

I agree yogadaisy somewhat. But there are other parents that have showed similar behavior as well, but it’s usually forgotten after a short while.
What Laine, Ann & others are talking about are the times she isn’t doing anything & people are still trying to find something to attack her for. She’s swimming w/ her baby in her own pool in her own yard yet some people are still complaining.
It’s also very possible to get those same facial features from genectics. It’s like people want the boy to have problems.

whats the bid deal if she wants to hide him she is the one that have he 9 months on her belly, she is the one that have a c-section, so is her kid she can hide him more if she wants.
and when sean born she was follwed like for 5 papz at the star when he gets older is when she have like 50 papz following her, she wont be able to handle 50 shots of flash with two babies, so i think is normal.
she is trying to spend time with her kids at home and she wants attentios that is not true.
why people can see that she change for her boy she saw that they are the most important thing she have and she wants to change for them thats all.
jayden is beautiful and i saw him smaller than what sean was but he is so cute just like his big brother, he looks like sean but at the same time so diferent lol

Pete- ITA! It does sound like people actually WANT Jayden to have problems, just because of who his mother is! Also, he does not look like he has FAS to me. People seem to be forgetting that kids with FAS are often very small for their age, and that is certainly not true of Jayden (if anything, he is BIG for his age!).
I also agree that some odd-looking features are simply the results of genetics a lot of times.
As far as the fact that she has kept him hidden for so long…I agree with all the posters who have mentioned that it is most likely because of all the mistakes she was caught making with Sean, and all the critcisim she got for them.
To be perfectly honest, all of this speculation over why she kept him hidden and whether or not he has any disabilites reminds me A LOT of the whole Suri Cruise scenario. Her parents kept her hidden for awhile (granted, not nearly as long as Britney kept JJ hidden, but still!)….and people were saying that of course it was because she had some deformity or disability (although I notice that nobody ever went as far as to suggest that she had Down Syndrome). A few people even suggested really absurd things, such as that she was hidden because “she’s really an alien!”. Well, when Suri was finally revealed, what did we find out? That’s right, that she is a perfectly NORMAL, HEALTHY little girl! It is obvious by these pictures that the same is true of Jayden (well, except for the fact that he is a boy, not a girl, obviously!).
Finally, I want to ask: Why do so many of you WANT little Jayden to have problems? Please, stop picking on an innocent little boy!

Well I guess my point has been made. tmz and x17online have shots of Britney last night going to three different clubs, her top is falling off exposing her breast, and in one shot she flashes her bottom to the camera as she crawls into the backseat.
Looks like she’s back to her partying ways (or at least acting undignified again).
This is why people don’t like her! Grow up and act respectable, make your sons proud of you, Brit!

yogadaisy and Lola- Would you please give Britney a break? I am not even a fan of hers, and yet I feel sorry for her! While I certainly don’t aprove of her going around to clubs, I also know that she has been through A LOT in the past year or so. To be perfectly honest, I am amazed that she is doing as well as she is right now! It’s probably going to take awhile for her to heal completely, and some of her habits (like going to clubs) are going to be hard to break.
Personally, I feel really bad for Britney, and I hope that she continues to recover from all of the stress she has gone through.

I think he’s a cute little fellow. In response to the pp who said we saw Sean Preston from day one, I think this is incorrect. I remember always seeing pics of his carseat covered up, and I remember Brit being upset when there were attempts to catch shots of him.
I think it was awhile for him before we saw good pics as well, just not so long as for Jayden James.

I really don’t get why people who don’t like Britney bother reading posts related to her.
You think she’s a bad mother/hate her hair/think she’s ugly?? Well good on you…you’ve posted on a blog that she’ll never read to say something that’s just plain nasty. The funniest thing is that it’s more of a reflection on your personality and you’ve taken the post to a whole other level which frankly has nothing to do with the Celeb Baby (which is why we’re all here isn’t it).
I am not trying to justify things that Britney has done in the past but i just think some of you should think of the phrase “if you haven’t anything nice to say…then don’t say anything at all”.
Now i’ve got that off my chest…what a cute little kid! I think he looks just like a mini SPF and i can’t wait to see a better picture of him and his big bro together!

Why is my name being used regarding a topic that I had nothing to do with until now? I fail to see how I am being “mean” to Britney if I haven’t posted anything.
Anyway, Jayden looks so much like Sean; they could almost pass for twins, especially once they get older. And I do feel really bad for her that she can’t even swim in her own pool without people taking photos of her and her kids. That is really crossing a line, imo. Why isn’t that illegal?

Annoynomous, I can say whatever I want about Britney so long as CBB approves it, which they did. And I fail to see how being critical of her is being “mean”–”mean” sounds so, um… 13! This is not the Britney Spears fanclub site.
and vic, I can say what I please, within CBB guidelines, which I did. I’m not sure how posting about her behaviour, that there is ACTUAL footage of (top falling off, flashing her bottom, etc.) is “just plain nasty”.

Lauren I too agree with you that it should be illegal to show a kid if the celebrity parents don’t want them to be seen. I remember back in the 90′s it was SO rare to see a star with their child on private time but now it’s so common to see it. I know that in European countries it is illegal to show children’s faces in magazines and it is always blurred out.

I can’t believe people are even bringing up FAS, I can’t imagine you can know that just by looking at him, to say something like that without knowing a thing is just horrible. He looks like a normal cute little boy to me. And I hardly think Britney was begging for attention here. I don’t know what people expect her to do?

yogadaisy- I know this is not the Britney Spears fanclub. I am not even a Britney fan myself. However, I think it’s just mean that people are CONSTANTLY bashing her about something! Some of the things I have seen her bashed about include the following:
-The parenting mistakes she made with Sean Preston.
-Her outfit choices.
-Not spending enough time with her kids.
-Not looking at or interacting with Jayden when she holds him (I imagine she had spotted the paps at that point and just wanted to focus on getting him away from them).
-Keeping Jayden hidden for so long.
Also, a few people have even gone so far as to pick on her kids (well, not so much Sean P.). I have seen all of the following commented on about Jayden:
-He has FAS.
-He has Down Syndrome.
-He will have learning disabilites
-He is fat.
Personally, I think people should just leave Britney and her kids alone! And as far as the footage of her out clubbing: That was footage from ONE night, for heaven’s sake! We don’t know how often she actually goes clubbing. My guess is that she is probably cutting back gradually. In any case, if anything, Britney needs our support right now, NOT our criticism!
