I’m surprised no one has commented on this picture… Is it safe to ride a scooter in her condition???

I would guess NO it is NOT safe to be on a scooter when pregnant!!!

thanks Diana, that’s what I was thinking too… but I guess since this is someone like Brit there’s no big blowup about it

She’s fine on the scooter. The most dangerous part of being on a scooter while pregnant are the crashes!

Why would it be unsafe to be on a scooter? It’s just another type of transportation, nothing wrong with it. If she’s comfortable then why not?
I think it’s a cute pic!

I only mentioned it since it seems like an unnecessary risk for a pregnant woman… I’d take a car or SUV over a scooter at nine months along

I don’t think it’s a good idea to be on a scooter when you’re that far along. Can you imagine if they wiped out? You worry if you simply trip and fall when you’re expecting (I did once!) and imagine falling to the ground at a higher speed. You have less control over how you hit the ground.

yeah, what if her scooter wrecked? or what if her car crashed? or a bus hit her while she was crossing the street? she should really just stay indoors. you never know what could happen.

Most medical books specifically state that riding bikes, horses etc. should be avoided during pregnancy. Why risk it? Pregnancy and babies are too precious to take for granted!

Astrid that was a ridiculous and stupid thing to say.
You’re better protected if your car gets hit than you are falling off a moving bike or motorcycle. And if you trip and fall while walking, you’re not going at the same speed as you are on a bike, scooter or motorcycle.
Think it over.

I was 10 days over due and my dad took me on a motorcycle ride to induce labor, it worked. Maybe thats what she is aiming for! My dad is a retired police officer and has been riding a motorcycle for 40 years. So don’t call me stupid.

Don’t think anyone was calling Naomi stupid. They were just pointing out that it’s probably not a good idea. Just like it’s not a good idea to let your baby ride in a car without a car seat.
