Emma Roberts, the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and niece of Oscar winner/ expecting celebrity-mom Julia Roberts, will star in this summer’s adaptation of the novel mystery series Nancy Drew. The 16-year-old, who plays the lead role, promotes her film in the June/July issue of Cosmo Girl, sharing some personal details along the way. Here are a few highlights:
She has had her very own ghost mystery:A couple of years ago, I was at my aunt’s [Julia's] ranch in New Mexico and my mom was taking pictures of me with the horses. After we got them developed, we saw that there was this weird light in every picture, this kind of orb thing. I still have the pictures & they’re really creepy and weird. I always wondered if it was a ghost.
She has an aversion to cooked vegetables:If I even smell cooked vegetables, I literally feel sick to my stomach. Ewww, so gross! I’m a really picky eater. I don’t like vegetables and most fruit. I only like food without color, like potatoes, bread, and pasta.
She had to have Nancy Drew etiquette lessons:I had to have a Miss Manners lady come and show me proper etiquette because Nancy is very proper. I learned about hand-shaking and standing up straight. I never stand up straight, so I’ve been trying to. But, it’s hard!

As a celebrity baby, she has an appreciation for old school Hollywood:I love Hollywood in the ’40′s, ’50′s and ’60′s. Everyone wasbeautiful and there was just so carefree. Plus, they dressed so cooland glamorous! I wish Hollywood was still like that.
Emma has a show on Nickelodeon called Unfabulous and was last seen in Aquamarine. The PG rated Nancy Drew will hit theatres on June 15.
