Elisabeth Shue learns to appreciate her mother

Elisabeth Shue sees her mom in a whole new light now, she states on Live with Regis and Kelly yesterday morning. Since having children of her own – son Miles, 9, Stella, 6, and Agnes, 1 on June 18, with husband Davis Guggenheim -  the actress says she was profoundly affected by portraying her mother in Gracie, a film inspired by her own adolescence, as she began to see through her mother’s eyes what it was like to parent her and was more empathetic towards her mother’s feelings.
