Joey McIntyre and wife expecting first child

Former New Kid on the Block and Dancing with the Stars alum Joey McIntyre, 34, and his wife Barrett are expecting their first child in November. Joey announced the news on his website this morning, leading into the pregnancy declaration by casually chatting about their new home. Joey writes,

In the meantime, I just bought a new house in LA…we loved the beach in Venice, but what can I say…that freakin’ commute kills ya. Plus, it’s really a dream house for us and we are gonna need some more room…because MY WIFEY IS PREGNANT!!!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!!! I can!

OMG little Joey Mac is gonna be a daddy!!!! That is so awesome! I loved him from NKOTB, although Donnie was my fave, and DWTS! We are seeing the DWTS tour in a few weeks and its gonna be so great to see him!!!!

Oh man!! i so remember having i total crush on “Joey Joe” from the time i was in 8th grade until prob like 10th or 11th grade! he was such a cutie i can’t believe he is going to be a daddy. congrats to him and barrett. i guess that makes it official, i am older than dirt!!

I was pregnant (and sick) with my second daughter (first trimester) when Joe appeared on DWTS. It was the highlight of my Wednesday nights! Joe, its been a pleasure watching you as a New Kid, listening to your solo CD’s and of course watching you Dance!!! Congrats on your new baby!

Good luck to you. I’ve watched you grow up as well. I’ve got three children of my own…seven year old twin daughters and a son recently born in January.
