I can’t believe some of you lot. Maybe if you saw peter and Katies program on ITV 2 on thursdays you would Know exactly what happened. There was a mirror hanging above harvey on two little hocks eventually the hocks couldn’t hold the mirror so it fell. The nanny actually managed to save him and it missed him. Peter and said if she wasn’t there the mirror would of probably killed him and the nanny was actually in the same room as harvey playing with the younger one (Juniour)and now peter is now paranoyed about the light at the bottom of the stairs
it has loads of lights around it covered with glass and he is porbably going to get red of it

why dont you people leave katie alone jesus shes been ver unfortunate but come on, accidents happen are you telling me u watch ur children every single second of every single day? and that your kids have never once had an accident or two? im pretty certain that poor katie has aloton her plate right now going through all of this and having people say such nasty things about her nxt you’ll be saying she poisoned pete and gave him meningitis behave yourselves!!

How can so many people be judging Peter and Katie, they love and adore both their children, Harvey does have some major health issues, so he is obviously going to have more accidents than a more able child, after seeing the family on their reality show and seeing what they have to cope with when Harvey throws a tantrum, I think they are doing the best they possibly can.

I have 5 children, all of whom have had accidents throughout their lives, some more serious than others, my youngest being 14 months and is always getting into scrapes, climbing where he shouldn’t falling over his own feet, basically doing what kids do, yes you can watch a child 24/7 that doesn’t guarantee that they will not hurt themselves.

If Katie Price wasn’t in the public eye this wouldn’t have made the news, it would have been checked out by social services found to be an accident which I’m sure it was and that would be the end of it.

Maybe Katie and Peter do need a little more help to look after Harvey, but at least they have him at home, there are lots of people out there that would have had him put into care and wouldn’t even be trying to care for him themselves.

Give this family a break they’ve had enough bad luck during the last 12 months, time for a little good luck now I think…….

I have read all the comments on this blog and i would like to clear up a few issues.

To everybody that says harvey should be watched to make sure he has no accidents …I want to make the point that Harvey has a full time personal nanny that is watching his every move ,but accidents happen !!
The mirror fell off the wall, and came crashing down on top of harvey. It was a freak accident, and it was by chance that harvey was hurt by the falling mirror .
It could of been anybody that was underneath it at the time !! Harvey is cared for, and watched 24/7.
It is only due to harveys medical problems,that make the accidents that he has had soo serious .
It is very easy to judge when you have no idea how much time, effort ,patience ,love and frustration that goes into trying to make Harveys life as normal as possible .

Just maybe it is hard to accept that Harvey has special needs, and does need extra help.
Imagine if all you would ever wish for , was that he could lead a normal life .

Poor poor kid. I hope he recovers well. I do think that having such accidents so often isn’t quite right especially with a special needs kid. It’s not being judgmental. It’s just being concerned. Why do different stars get different treatment over their handling of their children ? Britney’s kids haven’t been in hospital like that … and this isn’t the first time for poor Harvey.

And for all the people defending Jordan about how much she has on her hands right now, it didn’t stop her from touring USA or launching a book today or something did it ? IMO family comes before business. Yeah we all need breaks but with a sick husband, sick child and being pregnant .. how about you spend time with them instead and do something fun ?

i think people are being too judgmental, like alot of people have said, yes accidents do happen. i work with children who are disabled and they still have accidents and that is in a classroom with 1.3 children to an adult. maybe if you judgemental people looked around where you lived, a closer look you may be able to help an actual abused child, remember it could happen right next door to you, put your effort into that children who need it. if there was any child who needed more help then harvey it is abused children. remember we can help stop it.

Morgan, if it wasn’t you but your little child that got burned like that on your hair straighteners, maybe you wouldn’t be using them every day.

Or at least you wouldn’t let them lay around.

In ENGLAND whenever a child suffers a serious accident and is hospitalized, the hospital & Social servies do an investigation into the accident and whether the child is being looked after properyly. Therefore if Katie & Peter weren’t taking care of their children properly, believe me, there would be an investigation. Obviously the social services & hospital know what has happened and are happy that this was an ACCIDENT and aren’t going to interviene.

If you have watched Katie & Peter’s reality show you will have surely seen what a wonderful mother Katie is to Harvey, and how she copes so well with his numerous conditions.

I think everyone should take a step back & think how you would feel if you yourself as a parent came on here and read all these criticisms when your child had been hurt.

I read a lot of comments on a variety of celebrity baby topics and theres always so much criticism. Oh my god she’s over 1 years old and still has a dummy in her mouth! Oh my god he’s still drinking from a bottle at 3 years old! How shocking and appaling! Quick call the social services! lol Sorry I just wanted to get that off my chest.

Anyway, I want to wish hHarvey a very speedy recovery! And hope Katie is coping well with everything thats been thrown at her in the last few months. God bless x

The whole point is, this is very very sad. After the fact its always easy to see how an accident COULD have been prevented, but as we all know they still happen. Im a grown woman and have still managed to step on my flat hair iron more than once, burn my lip, 2 of my fingers, and melt a bottle yet i STILL use it daily! Accidents can never be completely prevented!
