Update: Harvey Price injured in mirror-shattering accident

Update: Harvey was released from the hospital on Wednesday. Katie’s rep says,

Katie is extremely pregnant. She’s just had ahusband that’s been in hospital, a son that’s been ill and now thisaccident. I don’t know how much more she can take. We just want Katie to get on with her pregnancy without going into premature labor.

Originally posted May 30th: In another event in an already hard year, Harvey Price,5, was admitted to the hospital last night after a mirror fell on him,which shattered and badly cut his face. Glass embedded in the skin,causing more than simple cuts, and Harvey was taken to a specialistunit. His nanny, Becky, was also treated after injuring herself whileattempting to help Harvey; however, she was released.

Harvey, who is blind, was released from the hospital earlier this year after badly burning his legs on New Year’s Eve, when he accidentally turned on the hot water tap and scalded himself. In addition, Peter Andre was released from the hospital 3 weeks ago after a serious bout with viral meningitis. This has left Katie ‘Jordan’ Price, who’s 5 weeks away from giving birth to her third child, quite stressed. A friend says,

She is in hospital with Harvey and is devastated.All she seems to do is spend time in hospital. It is unclear how longhe will be there.

I can`t believe anyone would comment on whether he was being properly looked after or not. Harvey`s family love him very much. Save your judgement for people who do not actually give a hoot about their kids. I hope Harvey isn`t suffering too much and that Katie is going to try to take it easy.

I agree with Alisha, it seems like whoever is watching Harvey doesn’t pay enough attention to him. With special needs he needs to have constant attention on him! Even a split second can land him in the hospital..

I’m sorry to hear this and hope he recovers fast. I agree though — it sounds like he needs better monitoring. I used to nanny for special needs kids, and they need to be watched EVERY SECOND. Accidents happen, but all these SEVERE accidents shouldn’t be repeatedly happening it seems.

I don’t question Jordan’s love for her child, but someone needs to keep a closer eye on Harvey.

When my mom used to teach special needs children she couldn’t turn her back on them. Imagine writing on a chalkboard from the side to avoid turning your head from the children. Special needs equals special attention. This is 2 major accidents in a year – honestly most hospitals would have called Social Services after the 1st incident.

Harvey has to be the most unlucky little boy in the world… first he was born with all those health issues, then he had that freaky accident on New Years Eve and now this. Is/was he being looked after properly? I certainly don’t know. Maybe he is just really, really unlucky. He needs and deserves all the love and attention in the world. Umm, do they have a DCFS were they live? This child is obviously not being taken care of properly. You cannot tell me that a child who is being cared for properly would have these types of injuries all in one year. Someone needs to step in here.

In all fairness, we dont know exactly what happened. It seems that Jordan/Katie and her family have been trhough a ton in the past few months, a pregnancy, a very ill husband, takinf care or a special needs child and a toddler. Its a lot to deal with! In the article it states that a nanny was also injured in trying to help little Harvy. It sounds as if Jordan/Katie DID have a nanny looking after him and the accident occured anyways. Im sure all of you would be terribly upset if your blind child had been involved in an accident or two and you were looked at as somone who disregarded the welfare of that child. Lets all just pray for the best for Harvey and the hardships this famil is facing at this time.

I can’t believe how judgemental some of you are. Have you ANY idea how hard it is to take care of a child with Harveys problems? All the while you are heavily pregnant, caring for your other younger son and worrying sick about your husband who’s in the intensive care unit?

A child with the difficulties that Harvey has needs constant monitoring, yes. BUT, accidents still happens. You can’t possibly watch a child all the time. Even if you think you’re doing just that, you can’t. There are always a few minutes here and there when look away, unbeknowns to you. And that’s when the accidents happen.

i never questioned his parents’ love for him, but realistically, it’s not as if she is juggling all of this herself. my son (thankfully) has never had any serious injuries, and i don’t have any professional help taking care of him. granted he is not without his sight, but that gives jordan even more reason to keep her or the nanny’s eyes on him at all times. this is not a matter of being judgemental, it is a matter of a child’s health and safety being taken into consideration.

Melissa- DCSF? We are english, we have social services and I think that two accidents in a year hardly warrents their intervention. Harveys “nanny” is his nanny. Katie is very much a hands on mum who has family to help her out so that this poor boy does not end up in a home. I think she should be applauded for coping. I suspect that maybe they will soon realise that with harvey getting bigger due to his age and condition they may need to draft in proffesional help. Poor girl cant win. If she had institutionalisd him she would be judged. Looking after him herself she is no better it would seem!

I’m glad to see I’m not alone if finding this accident strange.

Kids with special needs like Harvey need to be monitored as closely as possible. I have a cousin who has a severe form of autism. One of his baby sitters let him wander unsupervised and he got into her laundry room and was about to gulp down a bottle full of bleach when she caught up with him. I dunno but it sounds like Harvey is simply not being properly supervised. I know that a child can’t be watched every minute of every day and accidents are bound to happen. But while one severe accident is a tragedy, two severe accidents in less than 6 months is a disturbing pattern.

At any rate I wish him a speedy and complete recovery.

I don’t find this accident to be “strange”. I had a wonderful mother her kept a very close eye on me and I still managed to fall down the stairs, break my nose (by running into a door frame), and be so badly bruised from my falls that the doctors asked my mother if I was abused. NO I was not abused just a very active and accident prone child. Kids fall all the time, mothers shouldn’t be made to feel guilty when their child falls. He was probably just running and tripped over his own feet. It would be hard to stop that from happening.

Two accidents in a year and people are already shouting out for social services! He was with a nanny at the time- perhaps she wasn’t even at home, so how was she meant to be taking care of him? Maybe the nanny wasn’t looking after him properley, maybe she was, we don’t know. But I would ask all of you who are judging her parenting skills to think about how hard it must be, looking after a child with all Harvey’s health issues, a husband who has only recently come out of hospital and is still recovering and a toddler, all whislt being 8 months pg. Accidents happen to everyone, she isn’t perfect. Give her a break.

Anyways, I wish him a fast recovery, poor little thing.

I agree with everyone who finds this accident strange. They happen to every child, and Harvey may be more prone to them due to his disabilities, but the fact that he has severely injured himself twice in a span of four months is not a good sign. You need to monitor kids like that at ALL times, no matter how inconvenient it may be, and it sounds like Harvey isn’t getting the attention he needs.
And Katie may have been named Celebrity Mum of the Year, but wasn’t it by some trash UK tabloid? If so, enough said.

Maybe it would be a good idea for them to child-proof their house. A regulator on the taps/hot water tank and no floorlength mirrors are just two of the things I’d find obvious. Locks on upper floor windows. No glass vitrines/glass tables. Furniture with rounded edges. Toxic/cleaning substances, medications, matches, lighters and cigarettes far out of reach. Safeguards over all the sockets. Cordless kettles. And so on.

It’s true, nobody can watch a child 24/7 and accidents happen. Nobody is perfect. But it’s also true that many accidents could be avoided.

I’ve had a mirror fall on me twice with no provocation from me, so I guess we don’t know what happened there – maybe the chain holding it up snapped or something? She does seem to have runs of bad luck – like finding out about Harvey’s problems and getting cancer all in the same few months.

I did think it was strange about all the bath stuff though. I’ve seen him and there’s no way his tiny little legs could climb over the side of a bath. Still, there’s worse things going on in “the real world” I guess. If this was Britney, 90% of people on here would be baying for blood…

It doesn’t matter whats going on in her life a special needs child needs to be constantly monitored, and yes she has alot of other things on her mind thats why she has a nanny in the first place, but someone needs to take responsibility for him having to MAJOR accidents in the span of one year and I would start looking to the nanny maybe the little guy is to much for her and they need to hire more help because this little one needs 24/7 supervision.

And as for all the social services shout outs if most children had more then on major accident in the span of a year trust me they would have your kids it’s happened to people I know before

I feel terrible for Katie. I think people are being really unfair to her on here. I agree that Harvey needs better supervision, but maybe she changed nannies after the first accident and this still happened. She must be just so distracted by this awful year and the terrible events that have occured while she was pregnant.

What she really needs to do is get a professional in her house to childproof one wing – remove anything dangerous like mirrors, hot water tap, etc and then Harvey can run around in that designated area with less of a risk.

I have an active toddler who has his sight, and I feel like I’m constantly having to change the level of childproofing in my house as his activity level increases. I can’t even imagine what I’d need to do if I had to take a disability into consideration.

Then perhaps they realize that now and fix it. Hire another nanny or a better one, place him at a boarding school or something where professionals can care for him a few days a week so they can relax a little and focus on Junior. That’s how we do it in Sweden.

Social services would not take your kid in the first place here. I don’t know how the Brit’s do it but the Swedes try to solve the problems and give the parents a chance to better themselves, before they think about taking the child away. Of course, if it’s severe abuse and something like that, we take the child.

I agree with the people that commented a professional should come and do a survey of the home to ensure it is made safer for a child that is blind.

There was something amiss in that home environment that caused Harvey to fall into the mirror. Was it a floor mirror and he stumbled on something and the mirror was in the way?

A professional would see things like that in advance, and ensure safety measures were in place. Regular visits by such a professional over the years would help as Harvey grew older.

I also wondered since Harvey is now five years old if his parents have taken him to the local agency for the blind to interact with other children that are blind and to attain skills in maybe using a “seeing cane” or how get a sense of finding his way around whether it is at home or in an unfamiliar place.

All parents prepare their children as they grow older such as getting dressed, tying one’s shoelaces, going potty, so why not teach Harvey how to get through everyday life situations as someone that happens to be blind?

It is good there was a nanny for Harvey, but even so the accident happened. A safer home means a safer child. Poor Harvey, first his burned legs from January, and now less than five months later his face is all cut up.

FYI – in the US, Social Services will approach you if your child is underweight, if your child has a freakish injury, if the child is in the hospitals for more than 1 serious injury, etc. Doctors, teachers, etc. are duty bound to report suspicious accidents (even when they are not at work).

I can’t believe how judgemental so many people are being on here, maybe he was in his mother’s room and tripped over into a mirror? How would you safety-proof that? Or a mirror hanging on the wall fell on top of him? Imagine being 8 months pregnant and having a husband receovering from severe meningitis, on top of that Harvey, who is not just blind but has other serious medical conditions, who is extremely time-consuming as well. She HAS a nanny, what more can she do? I wonder if anyone could do more for him than Jordan already is. It is so easy to judge, but realistically, I think she is giving him the best care she can, it’s not as if he roams the streets unattended, barefoot.

The first thing I thought of when I read this article was baby proofing the house…more specifically for a blind child. I thought I remembered when the scalding accident happened it was said to have been a new house and they hadn’t had the chance to turn the water down/do some baby proofing to it.

I was glad I got to the posts that thought as I did…get a professional in to really set up a safe house…not only for Harvey, but for his baby siblings.

My younger brother had so many accidents as a kid that my mom said if he were a child today they probably would’ve had a huge file at child services for him…unwarranted, but a file nonetheless. I mean, my brother could turn a parked car into a means of injuring himself (jumped off the roof fetching a ball that went up there and broke his leg). He needed stitches many times, and once it was from standing a chair that swiveled and hit his head on the counter. He just managed to find things to hurt himself on…things my parents didn’t think would be hazards at the time.

My younger child, is a five year old that we dubbed Captain Destructo as a baby even. He climbed child safety gates, scaled the kitchen drawers to get on the counters, stacked toy bins up to climb on things while I went to the bathroom…this is a seeing child with a lot of energy…a blind child with a lot of energy and a not properly baby proofed house can mean a lot more potential accidents. It is a fact that kids can get away from you. I have a friend that put those little infomercially type door/window alarms on the areas of the house that were a concern…so if she was going potty, she’d hear that alarm. We even considered it for Captain Destructo…who thankfully hasn’t had any major owies as of yet.

Not all accidents are forseeable, but many are preventable. I agree with the person that said a safer house means safer children and that’s where they should focus their attention.

Ohhh… I feel so bad for Katie and her family, esp. Harvey.

My two children, ages 3 and 6, who have no health problems or issues, much less blindness(!) have had their fair share of accidents and mishaps, mostly when I was standing right next to them.

Kids fall, trip, touch things that are hot, and bump into stuff all the time.

Maybe when Harvey is older, they can get him a companion animal (seeing-eye dog) to help him out.

In the meantime, I hope they are hiring nannies who are well-equiped for dealing with special needs children.

Best of luck to them and can’t wait to see what sex Katie’s new baby will be!

The comments here are nothing compared to the other gossip sites, I’ve read which are accusing Jordan of everything from child neglect to Munchausen by Proxy Disorder. So in comparisons the comments here are pretty tame.

If this were a child without Harvey’s unique challenges I could probably dismiss the incidents as the usually bumps and bruises of childhood. However how does a child who is blind, developmentally challenged and has mobility problems climb into a bath full of scalding hot water or fall into a mirror? Obviously there’s something not quite right here. I don’t believe that Harvey is being abused or neglected but I do believe he needs closer supervision and also that his parents need to look into child proofing their home as many here have suggested.

If this was Britney, people would be shouting at the rooftops to take her kid away or that she MUST be abusing him because he’s had too many accidents…When she tripped with Sean P and the when he had the accident where the high chair collapsed in the NANNY’s care, people on here RIPPED Britney apart and called for child services…

But because it’s Jordan, people are defending her? How hypocritical…

Regardless of how much Katie loves Harvey or how pregnant she is or how she has a toddler or whatever, she should be ensuring her son’s safety FIRST. HE is blind and has other issues and THEY (she and her hubby) should be making EXTRA effort to make sure that Harvey is safe and well cared for. If she can’t do it right now, then maybe she should get someone who can. (Maybe a nanny who specializes in the blind/special needs children)

Least of all, they really need someone to come in and teach them all how to deal with Harvey’s needs and childproof the place. I agree with those who said that maybe he needs to start some special training.

I feel terribly for this poor little boy…what’s going to happen to him next time? It could be something even worse if they don’t do something else because what they are doing now doesn’t seem to be working.

YES AFTER TWO ACCIDENTS SOCIAL SERVICES SHOULD INTERVENE!!! These aren’t just 2 “I fell and scraped my knee accidents.” These are TWO “I AM HOSPITALIZED ACCIDENTS WITHIN A FEW SHORT MONTHS.” In the US, this family would definitely be under investigation, and they should be.

It doesn’t matter if it was the nanny who was taking care of this child. The parents are the ones ultimately responsible. They hired the nanny. I don’t care how pregnant you are, how sick your husband is, etc. She still has a responsibility to her children and she needs to take care of them appropriately, which she obviously isn’t. There is no excuse for this child being seriously injured like this within the same year. It is unacceptable.

If she is incapable of caring for this special needs child, then PLEASE send him somewhere or hire someone who is willing to care for him properly before ends up in a fatal accident.

Wow. I feel so sorry for this family.

But I cannot believe that anyone would say it’s “judgemental” to think two MAJOR accidents just a few months apart is indicitive of a problem.

I’m sure that it is really hard taking care of a special needs child. I would never underestimate how taxing and challenging it must be.

But I just can’t accept the “she has three kids, caring for a sick husband and is heavily pregnant to boot” argument. They have a nanny. Maybe they need a second nanny. Or maybe the one they have isn’t doing such a good job.

And is it really such a horrible thing to suggest the possibility (not accuse, nor state for a fact) that the parents aren’t doing the best possible job? Maybe they just aren’t fully equipped to care for a child with special needs. After all, it takes superparents to take care of 3 kids, one of them disabled, even with the help of a nanny.

And as others have said, maybe the house needs more childproofing.

I’m sure, as tactful and non-accusatory as I have tried to be, this will get a response saying I’m being judgemental. But I think it’s likely that one or more of the above suggestions is a reason for the recent accidents.

I agree with a lot of the posters here. Harvey is a special needs child, and to top it off the child is always getting seriously hurt. If Katie can’t watch Harvey properly at least get a nanny that could, something is not right in that house. A child falling and getting a cut, is a lot different than getting badly burned or having a mirror shatter on them. She seems very immature on her reality show and even on interviews I’ve seen. All she knows how to say lately is how she is getting her implants done for the 4th time after she has her 3rd child, and how she is getting plastic surgery on her whole body to stay sexy for peter. Or that she is gonna have 6 kids, hoping to get a little girl to dress up. Hopefully she keeps a better eye on Harvey, before it’s too late.

After reading some of the points made, I’m changing my view. At first it was shocking to hear suggestions of official investigation. But of course, it would be be worse to hear that a child fell through the cracks. Of course, if a family requires support, it would never be known unless someone took the initiative to find out. Now that I’ve thought it through more, I remember obligations that health care workers have to report suspicious or frequent injuries to children. If everything is fine, no harm done. Just hard as a mother to think that we could so easily fall under suspicion. My child has a bleeding disorder and is often bruised. I get sensitive thinking what others might think I do to him, not knowing his medical history.

Melissa- What a thing to say! First of all, just because the parents hired the nanny and presumbly interviewed her does not neccesarily mean things will go perfectly when she is watching the child. I mean, look at all the stories out there about abusive nannies. It has even happened to celebrities before. For example, Bluebell Halliwell was abused by her nanny. Even though her mom hired the nanny, she obviously didn’t know that the nanny would actually abuse her poor little girl, and she certainly wasn’t responsible for the abuse.
That said, I am certainly not saying Harvey’s nanny abused him, because she didn’t. This was an accident, and the nanny even tried to help him. However, what I AM trying to say is that, when his parents aren’t home, they have no control over how the nanny treats the child or how well she looks after him. Yeah, they can set rules and everything, but that doesn’t mean the nanny will follow them.
All of that said, how would YOU feel if YOU were Katie and people were saying horrible stuff about your son’s accident?

Wow didnt realise that so many people on here know how to look after a disabled child with Harvey’s condition. Also didnt realise how many of you were such perfect parents.

My able bodied son was taken to hospital twice in two weeks, once he fell over in front of me and cut his eye very badly on a tv corner unit and the second time he fell over into the corner of my dads couch and cut open the other eye, again in front of me. Accidents DO happen. You can keep an eye on your child 24/7 but they can still have accidents.

Not any of us can comment on her parenting abilities, nor can any of us know what actually happened.

I agree with the person that said about Britney, just because she is in the public eye, people think that they can make comments about her abilities as a parent. We all have days when we feel like we could do better as parents, but to have someone (who has never even met you) writing comments on blogs about those abilities must be heartbreaking.

Too many people are too quick to judge.

Thankfully Harvey is out of hospital now and is recovering, hopefully he is doing well.

I don’t think it is judgemental or mean to show concern over the welfare of any child – yours, mine or Katie Price’s.

It would be far worse if people ignored incidents such as these because they are afraid of causing trouble or hurting someone’s feelings.

There are too many stories of neglected or abused children slipping through the cracks for just those reasons. Anyone remember Lisa Steinberg who was murdered in 1987? That is just one example…

Now of course I do not mean that Katie and Peter (or the nanny for that matter) are abusing Harvey because as a parent I know that accidents do happen.

But it is naive to say people are being “vicious” when they suggest that this family needs some additional help – be it a better nanny, more child-proofing or even social services looking into the situation.

Katie and Peter have a lot more resources and finances than many other families with special needs children, so while I empathize with them, I do not pity them.

It really is our duty to help look after one another’s kids and keep each other informed so that we can all be better parents. As it is said, “Know better, do better.” and “It takes a village to raise a child.” So perhaps they need a little more help and a little more education… I know I would jump at the chance for both on any given day.

Reading all of the posts I have read many comments I agree with, and many comments I disagree with. Those who are calling people “judgemental” based on the fact that we are concerned with Harvey’s well being always seem to justify this second accident by saying Katie is pregnant, has a sick husband, has an infant to care for,blah blah blah. None of these are excuses for this child’s second hospitalization in less than 6 months. There are many people that are dealing with the same problems she has, and they don’t have the financial means that she has,and if something like this would have happened to their blind child i’m quite sure there’s no one coming to their defense saying “right now they have a lot to deal with”,their child would be taken away from them. The fact is obviously this child is not being well taken care of, this is not the first incident. This is the second incident, you would expect a parent to learn from the first incident, and change things so that it wont happen again, but it seems as though she doesn’t really know how to take care of him.I’m sure i’m going to be getting alot of flack for this, but I really don’t care, when I was watching their reality show it showed the episode when her and Harvey were going to visit the castle were they were going to get married. While they were at that castle Harvey was in the hospital, I can’t remember what for, but I just couldn’t believe she was sooo far away from her child when he was in the hospital. Maybe it’s just me, but if I were a mother and my child were in the hospital I would never leave them, no matter what. But the bottom line is in my heart I don’t believe they are doing everything they can for this child, and I think it’s mostly because they don’t know how to care for him, but I truly wish them the best of luck in life. I also hope that this child doesn’t have any more of these kinds of accidents,and that they learn from this second incident,and do better.

The whole point is, this is very very sad. After the fact its always easy to see how an accident COULD have been prevented, but as we all know they still happen. Im a grown woman and have still managed to step on my flat hair iron more than once, burn my lip, 2 of my fingers, and melt a bottle yet i STILL use it daily! Accidents can never be completely prevented!

As soon as I saw this topic on the main page I knew there would be loads of comments coming down on Katie & Peter’s parenting skills and whether Harvey is properly looked after.

In ENGLAND whenever a child suffers a serious accident and is hospitalized, the hospital & Social servies do an investigation into the accident and whether the child is being looked after properyly. Therefore if Katie & Peter weren’t taking care of their children properly, believe me, there would be an investigation. Obviously the social services & hospital know what has happened and are happy that this was an ACCIDENT and aren’t going to interviene.

If you have watched Katie & Peter’s reality show you will have surely seen what a wonderful mother Katie is to Harvey, and how she copes so well with his numerous conditions.

I think everyone should take a step back & think how you would feel if you yourself as a parent came on here and read all these criticisms when your child had been hurt.

I read a lot of comments on a variety of celebrity baby topics and theres always so much criticism. Oh my god she’s over 1 years old and still has a dummy in her mouth! Oh my god he’s still drinking from a bottle at 3 years old! How shocking and appaling! Quick call the social services! lol Sorry I just wanted to get that off my chest.

Anyway, I want to wish hHarvey a very speedy recovery! And hope Katie is coping well with everything thats been thrown at her in the last few months. God bless x

i think people are being too judgmental, like alot of people have said, yes accidents do happen. i work with children who are disabled and they still have accidents and that is in a classroom with 1.3 children to an adult. maybe if you judgemental people looked around where you lived, a closer look you may be able to help an actual abused child, remember it could happen right next door to you, put your effort into that children who need it. if there was any child who needed more help then harvey it is abused children. remember we can help stop it.

Poor poor kid. I hope he recovers well. I do think that having such accidents so often isn’t quite right especially with a special needs kid. It’s not being judgmental. It’s just being concerned. Why do different stars get different treatment over their handling of their children ? Britney’s kids haven’t been in hospital like that … and this isn’t the first time for poor Harvey.

And for all the people defending Jordan about how much she has on her hands right now, it didn’t stop her from touring USA or launching a book today or something did it ? IMO family comes before business. Yeah we all need breaks but with a sick husband, sick child and being pregnant .. how about you spend time with them instead and do something fun ?

I have read all the comments on this blog and i would like to clear up a few issues.

To everybody that says harvey should be watched to make sure he has no accidents …I want to make the point that Harvey has a full time personal nanny that is watching his every move ,but accidents happen !!
The mirror fell off the wall, and came crashing down on top of harvey. It was a freak accident, and it was by chance that harvey was hurt by the falling mirror .
It could of been anybody that was underneath it at the time !! Harvey is cared for, and watched 24/7.
It is only due to harveys medical problems,that make the accidents that he has had soo serious .
It is very easy to judge when you have no idea how much time, effort ,patience ,love and frustration that goes into trying to make Harveys life as normal as possible .

Just maybe it is hard to accept that Harvey has special needs, and does need extra help.
Imagine if all you would ever wish for , was that he could lead a normal life .

How can so many people be judging Peter and Katie, they love and adore both their children, Harvey does have some major health issues, so he is obviously going to have more accidents than a more able child, after seeing the family on their reality show and seeing what they have to cope with when Harvey throws a tantrum, I think they are doing the best they possibly can.

I have 5 children, all of whom have had accidents throughout their lives, some more serious than others, my youngest being 14 months and is always getting into scrapes, climbing where he shouldn’t falling over his own feet, basically doing what kids do, yes you can watch a child 24/7 that doesn’t guarantee that they will not hurt themselves.

If Katie Price wasn’t in the public eye this wouldn’t have made the news, it would have been checked out by social services found to be an accident which I’m sure it was and that would be the end of it.

Maybe Katie and Peter do need a little more help to look after Harvey, but at least they have him at home, there are lots of people out there that would have had him put into care and wouldn’t even be trying to care for him themselves.

Give this family a break they’ve had enough bad luck during the last 12 months, time for a little good luck now I think…….

why dont you people leave katie alone jesus shes been ver unfortunate but come on, accidents happen are you telling me u watch ur children every single second of every single day? and that your kids have never once had an accident or two? im pretty certain that poor katie has aloton her plate right now going through all of this and having people say such nasty things about her nxt you’ll be saying she poisoned pete and gave him meningitis behave yourselves!!

I can’t believe some of you lot. Maybe if you saw peter and Katies program on ITV 2 on thursdays you would Know exactly what happened. There was a mirror hanging above harvey on two little hocks eventually the hocks couldn’t hold the mirror so it fell. The nanny actually managed to save him and it missed him. Peter and said if she wasn’t there the mirror would of probably killed him and the nanny was actually in the same room as harvey playing with the younger one (Juniour)and now peter is now paranoyed about the light at the bottom of the stairs
it has loads of lights around it covered with glass and he is porbably going to get red of it
