They pick some homely looking outfits for this kid…

the dress is okay but I’m not sure about the leggings. She is cute, though! My brother had sandals just like hers when he was small.

Hey, I think she looks cute. Anyway, how do you know her parents picked out her outfit. A lot of children that age like to pick out their own clothes. It’s a learning experience/chance for them to express themselves as little individuals. Look at Sarah Jessica Parker’s sons outfits sometime….she’s made comments before that he likes to choose his own clothes too. I’m just curious about the red string around her neck (doesn’t look like a necklace) and whether it has something to do with Kabbalah?

FilmGal30, I agree that they might let Apple pick out her own outfits. When my 4 year old was 3 he started wanting to pick out his own clothes. I wouldn’t let him wear outlandish outfits but a little mismatching never hurt anyone and he was and still is very proud he picks his own clothes out.

Her shoes are Stride Rite http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/5439908/c/222.html

Awwww, cute girl. She’s so tall now.

I am Europian and we as well as some other cultures tie a red string on our children to ward off the evil eye. Basicaly it is an old wives tail that if your child is beautiful or rich and envied by others as well as phototgraphed the red string is supposed to protect them from bad wishes upon them. :o )

i thought it was a Jewish thing? Gwyneth’s said her dad was Jewish.

Apple is such a pretty little girl.

I think the red string looks like the left overs of a candy necklace. But that is just my opinion. I do agree about kids wanting to dress themselves my 5 year old daughter is a pro at it. But honestly if you think about pictures of Apple even as a baby she wasn’t always dressed the cutest. But everyone has there own style. She sure does look like her momma though!

Apple is adorable. It’s refreshing to see her eat such a healthy snack.

Definitely not a flattering photo. She looks like her mom. She’s so pale!! I wonder what kind of diet they have her on.

Some people just have very light skin
coloring. I think she looks really cute
in the photo.

She is lovely and a miniature Gwyneth. She is fair skinned and it makes perfect sense to limit her sun exposure considering that research shows that adult skin cancers are usually caused by over exposure to the sun from when we are kids!

She looks very cute!

And what is with the she looks soo pale talk? She is a natural blonde, fairskinned child.

Thanks goodness her mother is not taking her to Sunset Tan. Now THAT is unhealthy. Too much skin cancer these days.

White is beautiful too!

yogadaisy on

Oh please! Pale?! She is a beautiful light-skinned blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl. I think fair skin is quite lovely. My four children look similarly since we are of northern european descent.

And her clothes always look very cute and comfy. It’s probably organic cotton. Go Gwyneth!

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
