Congrats! This is the first step towards adoption. Soon he will be legally Brad’s child(he is in every other way already) just like Maddox and Zahara.

Ditto Leni.

Finalizing his adoption is just that.

In ALL ways, he is Brad’s kid and Brad is his papa.

- Principesa on

Principesa, not in ALL ways…in most.

I understand Brad’s his dad and vice versa, but not in ALL ways is he Brad’s child.

Why do they have to go through the name change process? Won’t she be able to add Pitt to his last name when the adoption is finalized?

- Amy on

Amy- Pax’s adoption IS finialized. That is why Angie was able to leave Vietnam with him. What isn’t finialized is BRAD’S adoption of Pax. As far as I know, that process has not even been started yet. That said, Mad and Z also became Jolie-Pitts before Brad adopted them. Therefore, it makes perfect sense to me that they did the same with Pax. I am sure they wanted him to have the same last name as his siblings as soon as possible. Anyway, I am sure it is not harming Pax at all to have Brad’s name before being officialy adopted by him.

I was just wondering So Maddox and Zahara are OFFICALLY addopted by Brad Pitt?

- Beth on

Beth- Yes, they are. Brad’s publicist confirmed that the adoption was finialized just before Shiloh’s birth.

Natasha,

What do you mean by “not in ALL ways is he Brad’s child”?

- Katherine De la Serna on

I have nothing against adoption let me get that out first.

I’m just saying that it doesn’t make any sense to say in ALL ways, because there is the biological factor.

- Natasha on

I’m pretty certain Principesa meant “ALL ways” in terms of from here on forward, or more specifically ever since Angelina brought Pax home from vietnam. I don’t think the “biological factor” is lost on anyone.
