I don’t understand how all of these celebrities look like that after they have children! I don’t mean losing the weight, or getting back into shape. I’m only 22 years old, didn’t gain any excessive weight while pregnant, and I got back into my size 2 jeans within weeks, that wasn’t the problem. I’ve done my sit-ups and everything, and in clothes I look great – but the skin on my stomach is NOT pretty! I used the cocoa butter & all that stuff. I understand it depends on the woman, some just have more elasticity in their skin – but it cannot be a coincidence that ALL of the celebrities just happen to be THAT lucky! I wonder what their secret is?

Kingston is so cute, and Gwen’s body looks great. Her abs look awesome.

I dont get it either, i have lots of excess skin, to the point where i need a 10 for my legs and butt, but a 16 or 18 for my stomach. Totally embarrassing, and I can’t find clothes at all. I also have horrendous stretchmarks. I didnt use cocoa butter, because I believe its a crock of bs anyway. No lotion or cream is going to penetrate to the layers of skin that actually have the stretch marks, it happens no matter what.
I’m only 21, and this SUCKS!

I’m not hatin, but holy crap she looks so good, and its so not fair!!! I got such crappy genes!!

Kingston is amazing. He is so cute. Gwen looks amazing. I haven’t got a stomach like that and I don’t have children.

I was born via c-section. My moms abs was never again the same after that. How do they do it??

- Hea on

Its called surgery people!!! And, of course they all have the time and money in the world to just workout around the clock. SO, when us “normal” people get that, we will just have to do things the old fashioned way, “HARD WORK!”

- dee on

To Erin’s Mom: the secret is surgery!!! And about the strech marks, well Katie Holmes has them, too.. and they become lighter and lighter with time. Everyone is different about that..
but I firmly believe that they have surgery to remove the extra skin.. if you had a job where you had to show off your body and you were photographed ALL THE TIME, you would certainly do the same! I would!

I saw gwen in concert a few weeks ago. For a while she was wearing “one piece” outfits so I figured that she had some post pregnancy issues, but at this concert she came out in an outfit like the one she is wearing there. I was shocked! It does almost look like a tummy tuck stomach, but the belly button looks ok. She had a C-section adn was able to get back those abs! I want to know how. She is also not a young 20 something either.

- sandy on

what i don’t get is why a 30ish woman would wear that out. i know that she is a performer and onstage i can see, but just walking around with your family seems a little excessive and show offy to me. still love you Gwen, but cover up!

- MMM on

Oh god, her abs are killing me!!! I guess she can have a baby sitter and go work out, something most of us can’t do. Although she is such a hands on Mother; much more than many of the celebrity Moms.
Kingston looks so much like his Daddy.

This is the second set of photos I’ve seen in which it looks like Kingston is wearing a Medic-Alert bracelet on his left wrist? Or is it just a decorative bracelet? Any word on medical issues?

- Alison on

I’m 30 and damn if I dress older than I am! She looks fine. However, most celebrities have tummy tucks along with their c-sections. That’s another reason for the prevalence.

- Tanya on

Tanya – From what I have heard, the story about celebs getting tummy tucks after C-sections is a myth. Most doctors refuse to do tummy tucks after C-sections, even for celebs, because of two main reasons:

1. It is extremely risky.

2. The situation would become very tricky to anesthesia. The celeb would either have to have a general anesthetic instead of a local for the C-section, and thus miss the birth of her child. OR, she would have a local for the C-section, but then be knocked out immeditely after the baby is delivered for the tuck. Doctors generally don’t like doing that.

All of that said, keep in mind that it’s been a year since Kingston was born. Therefore, Gwen has had plenty of time to get her abs back by excercisng and dieting.

As for Kingston’s bracelet…I have trouble believing it is a medical alert bracelet. I would think that, if Kingston DID have some medical condition, Gwen probably would have mentioned it. Also, I am sure the press would have gotten word of it by now, since all the frequent doctor’s visits and stuff would have been very obvious.

Gwen also still had a belly for months after Kingston was born — we think she lost weight with her training and with breastfeeding, just like she’s talked about.

The rumors of another pregnancy were definitely wrong!

- Sarah on

MMM – I absolutely agree with you. My first thought was wow her body has bounced back and my second was, she’s not performing, who walks around on a regular day like that???

Looking at the photos of all these celebs back in shape and without stretch marks is enough to drive me crazy! I am 22 and I have horrible stretch marks – they seemed to come on very suddenly in the last 3 months of my pregnancy and just spread. 17 months later and they are still horrible.

I honestly believe a lot of it is genetics – some women get them, some don’t. But as far as weight loss, celebs do have the advantage of surgery and nannies to mind their babies while they work out.

Does anyone know where I can find the shirt that Gavin is wearing?
