Lars Ulrich and Connie Nielsen welcome another boy to the brood

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, 43, and his girlfriend of two years, actress Connie Nielsen, 41, welcomed their first child together on Monday, May 21st. Bryce Thadeus Ulrich-Nielsen was born in San Francisco — no birth details were released.

Bryce joins big brothers Sebastian, 16, Myles, 8, and Layne, 6, from Connie and Lars’ previous relationships — according to the statement, they’re psyched!

Of Bryce, Connie says,

We are ecstatic. Everything is fine with him. He is eating, and he’s just so fine.

I think every baby is a blessing so I am happy for them, but isn’t 4 children from 3 different relationships a bit much. I guess they don’t respect commitments. Oh yeah, they’re not married, so no commitment involved. It’s amazing to me how some people throw love around like a wet dishcloth.

Beverly I think you are being unjustly harsh: He was married and is now divorced. She was married and is now divorced. Sometimes relationships just don’t work. They are together and just had a child. It is called a blended family and actually quite common. Commitment mean so much more than just being married. I wish them happiness. This is my least favorite picture of Lars ever I wish I could find a better one of them together.
