MaxOUT Swimwear: Hot UV Protective Swimwear

Groovebb2pc_no_back You slather on the sunscreen on your kids. You make sure they wear a hat whenever they’ll let you. But what about their swimwear? Will it protect your child’s body? Well, MaxOUT Swimwear will. It’s 50+ UPF (which protects 98% protection for UV and UBV rays). It’s also really stylish with really fabulous prints!!

Allie Henessy and Stephanie Sherwood are the co-founders of this fun, smart company. Several years ago, Allie was diagnosed with skin cancer. This and her desire to protect children from the sun’s dangerous rays moved her to research and then design swimwear with friend Stephanie. Their swimwear is certified 50+ UPF by the Australian Radiation Agency and will not lose that protection by swimming or washing.

I checked out the fab "Get Your Groove On"  bikini. Sizes go from infant (6 months and up), toddler (2 to 4 T) and older girl sizes up to 10. So adorable, a matching rashguard shirt is available in this print. They have several other great prints that are also available in girl’s sizes to 10. I loved the Hue of Blues suit, the Strawbery Fields Girl’s Rashguard shirt and the Playful Paisley suit.  Your little girl will think she’s a fashionista, you’ll know that her suit has UV protection! With some sunscreen, and a hat, she’s ready for admiring looks poolside!

I also saw the Strawberry Field’s rashguard tee in lime and navy.  Sizes go from infant (6 months and up), toddler (2 to 4 T) and older boy sizes up to 10. Pair this with Maxout’s navy swim trunks with lime and white flowers. Your little man will rock the kiddie pool in this!

Maxoutswimwear recommends that children wear UV protective swimwear and clothing, wear a hat, lather on at least 30+ UV protective sunscreen and UV sunglasses. They also sell sunglasses for kids, wide brimmed hats and UV beads and UV nailpolish that will change color when the sun is too strong. While not detectors, you can use them as an awareness tool.

Since my son Ben and I have fair skin (and relatives who have also battled skin cancer) we are very serious about sun protection. We already always slather on the sunscreen and wear hats and sunglasses. But now I will have to make sure his swimwear and clothes have more UV protection.
