Minifashionista: An Funky Australian Children's Boutique
Minifashionista is a new online Australian children’s boutique for the style-conscious kid in your life, girl or boy. Catering to little ones from ages 0 -4, they’ve got groovy clothes, accessories, gifts, toys, organic items and many other fun things. They deliver worldwide and stock such celebrity favorite brands as No Added Sugar and Kit n Kin( from the U.K.), Droopy Knickers, Posh Baby, Little Twig and Babla (from the U.S), as well as local Australian and New Zealand brands. Owner Shannon Fewings-Hall, mother of 3 (including 3 year old twins), created her website "that is easy to use, but maintains a sense of style, in-line with the products". Shannon also feels, "Parents are really looking to find clothing that help their children express themselves and ‘stand out’ from the crowd."
I checked out the adorable and attitude-driven "It Wasn’t Me" and "I Live For Cars and Girls" t-shirts. My son Ben and his friend Joshua are pictured in her t-shirts above. Designed by Nicola Druker for her NY based Droopy Knickers brand, the "It Wasnt’ Me" tee is hand-printed with red water-based ink, giving it a retro look (which I love). No two are alike. The "I Live For Cars and Girls Tee" comes in brown or navy, with a old school font. Gavin Rossdale recently bought both shirts for his son, Kingston, with Gwen Stefani. Kingston has been also been seen in No Added Sugar’s "Perfect" blue and white striped playsuit.
Don’t miss the fantastic Kit n Kin tees– "Tourist Baby" with camera graphic and "Mobile Baby" with a Rzr cell phone on the front. I also loved the Lily Bean Play Foods. Check out the Sushi Set or the Brown Lunch Bag Set made of felt -sure to spark creative play. Since Fewings-Hall is the mom of twins, she made sure to include items for twins and multiples, such as the No Added Sugar "SN/AP" onesies in pink and blue and the darling Urban Smalls "Wonder Twins Powers, Activate" onesies.
