There is a picture of gwyneth picking up Apple from preschool on Just Jared’s website. but she is covering Apple’s face with a blanket…why does she still do this? Does anyone else think that is weird and awful? Especially when Blythe doesn’t cover her up like in this picture. It is not like we don’t see pictures of Apple who by the way is very pretty.

We have no idea what it must be like to be parent who’s child is constantly followed around by paparrazzi. We shouldn’t judge her for choosing to protect her child from these strangers when she feels it is appropriate.
For all we know it may have been a particularly aggressive, abusive photographer who has been hasseling them, or maybe Apple was upset or frightened by it and didn’t want to be photographed. We should be more understanding and respect that. Everyone has their limits.
If you were a parent and some strange man was chasing you around taking pictures of your three year old girl, I think you’d freak out and expect that man to be arrested! Just because she’s the child of a famous person doesn’t take away that parental instinct to protect your child from that kind of thing.

Do you know what’s so strange? When she was a baby, she sure looked a lot like her mother but now it’s different.
I can see both of her parents in her since that she’s much older now!

It makes perfect sense that Apple’s face be covered from the paparrazzi. I found this surprising, but a disturbing amount of paparrazzos are convicted criminals and/or sex offenders. So, I’d be covering up my daughter’s face too.
