Prince Louis of Luxembourg and wife Tessy Anthony expecting second child

Prince Louis of Luxembourg, 20, and his wife Tessy Anthony are expecting their second child. The couple married in September 2006, some months after the birth of their first child, Gabriel de Nassau, now 14 months.

Upon marrying Tessy, the Prince lost his rights to the Luxembourgish Grand Duchy (he was third in line to the throne), therefore wife Tessy and his son Gabriel only use the surname "Nassau." Louis kept his Prince of Luxembourg and Prince of Nassau titles though. Since he is no longer a member of the Gran Ducal House, the pregnancy will probably not be announced officially. However, the following pictures prove Tessy should be around 3 or 4 months pregnant. The family was present at the closing of the Octave of Our Lady of Luxembourg this weekend. Proud grandparents, the Grand Dukes of Luxembourg, Henri and Maria Teresa, attended the event with Princes Guillaume, Felix and Alexandra, together with Louis and Tessy. Pictures of Tessy: 1, 2.

Louis did not give up his right to the throne when his son was born out of wedlock. He was still in line to the throne when Gabriel was a baby but had to give up his rights when he wanted to marry Tessy.

Well, it was unlikely he would ever succeed to the throne anyway since his elder siblings and their children would be ahead of him.

I learned that Tessy served her country(out of duty)in the military, now that she and Louis are married regardless of their ages with two children she deserves being given the title of Princess and her children should be recogonised with such too. Her mother-in-law the reigning Duchess was not born in Luxinburg. The people of Luxinburg received Duchess Theresa with open arms and respect her she received all the titles though a foreigner. Tessy deserves likewise she is young and could be moulded to the rules and principles of WHATEVER!
