Elisabeth Hasselbeck designing kids clothing line

In a recent interview with TV Guide, The View co-host, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, revealed that she is currently designing a children’s clothing line that will soon be available at Target stores and that she also has a few children’s books in the works. Elisabeth said,

I am working on a children’s clothing line. There might be some onesies available at Target soon. And hopefully, we’ll get some children’s books out within the next year. I may be talking politics and celebrities on The View, but I am a designer and artist by nature.

Elisabeth is married to NY Giants Quarterback, Tim Hasselbeck, and together they have a two year-old daughter, Grace Elisabeth. Elisabeth is currently pregnant with their second child, due in November.

What does it take to fashion a onesie? She doesn’t strike me as an ingenious designer. Fox News is more her speed.

I’m sorry but this is exploitation of her kid and unborn child…and her role on The View. And the way she says “..and we’ll have some books out at the end of the year…”. It is all about making some money off her pregnancy. Even if she is a ‘designer’ what does this have to do with writing children’s books?
