x17 has blurry, grainy images of Britney Spears, 25, holding son Jayden James, 8 months, while her cousin holds Sean Preston, 20 months. The images were taken last evening at her Malibu home.

wow, hes like a little clone of Sean, right down to the vest, shirt and jeans.

Looks very cute, even in the poor quality pics.

I wonder if/when we will ever see a “decent” photo of him.

I think Sean has worn those clothes before. He does look big, but then you think that he’s 8 months old so he’s about the right size. He looks skinner and has more hair than Sean did at that age. Very cute. Those pictures are kind of sad though. A person should be able to walk in their garden without having their picture taken.

I agree with Ann. Britney has tried very hard to keep Jayden away from photographers so its really sad that they are spending personal time together on their own property and yet are still being hunted by the press! However, Jayden is a real sweetie, a definite mini-me of Sean Preston!

The pictures are very blurry but it looks almost like Jayden has down syndrome. His face has the characteristic traits of a down syndrome baby. Does anyone else see this??

That could explain why he is being kept hidden and even Britney’s depression.

Moving away from how the pics were taken, I’m going to say that Jayden James looks like a clone of his brother to me. He’s almost like going back about a year and half and looking at Sean Preston to me. Then when I look at him again he reminds of what his older brother Kaleb looked like when he was still a baby.

Kevin certainly leaves a mark on his kids. You look at them and know they’re his.

yogadaisy – I certainly do not see how you could make the assumption from such blurry pictures that little Jayden may have Down sydrome. Are you even familiar with the characteristics?? Most often its not just facial appearance that characterizes Down syndrome….there are often medical problems and early intervention is necessary. I think the press would be following Brittney to Dr. visits and photographing early intervention staff entering the home if that were the case. I’m sure Brittney doesn’t take the time to read much of what is said about her and her children, but how sad it would be to hear someone make that assumption about YOUR child. No matter what the reason is behind her keeping his life private…I’m sure his family loves him no matter what others may say he looks like.

I don’t think he looks like he has Down’s. How could you make that assumption from grainy photos????

And even if he DID have it, it would have been leaked to the press long before now. I think Britney is just trying to shield him from the paps because she’s had bad experiences with Sean.

I don’t think he looks like he has down syndrome, but I think both Sean and Jayden look like they have some symptoms of fetal alcohol syndrome (do a google image search). I’m not trying to be mean at all. It’s just something I noticed.

Ash, I did look up the pictures, and you’re right, it does look A LOT like that. NOT saying in any way that’s it’s not just the way they look, but some of the pictures that I have seen look almost exactly the same way that Sean P looks.

I don’t think the boys look like they have FAS at all. In fact, if you look at Kevin’s two kids with Shar Jackson, they have the same look as SP and JJ. It’s the genes.

I am not seeing the fetal alcohol syndrome at all and I think it is wrong to even imply that. No wonder she doesn’t want to show the new baby off…people just come out of the woodwork with hateful comments. How would you feel if someone told you your baby looked like he/she had Down’s Syndrome or Fetal Alcohol Syndrome?? I can imagine you would be quite pissed off.
I think both kids look a lot like her and they are very cute…not that the stalker shots of Jayden are all that great.

I don’t think Jayden has Downs or FAS/FAE. The photos are grainy, but a Downs child is easily recognisable. Also, as another person has said, it would have been leaked by now. All the doctors appointments and the like would have been glaringly obvious.

I have a cousin with Downs and it is very obvious that he suffers from it. Even thought my cousin is very high functioning and is not a typical Downs person, it is VERY obvious that he has Down’s Syndrome. Furthermore, why would it matter? Downs babies are just as adorable, sweet, and lovable as any other babies. I would feel for Brit if that were the case because it’s a hard road. But, I don’t think it’s the case.

As for the FAS/FAE, I know a girl who’s daughter has FAS and she looks nothing like Jayden. FAS babies are very very small, and Jayden looks like a healthy boy. And if he even had FAE (fetal alcohol effect) if would probably not even be noticable. Brit did seem to take care of herself while pregnant, so I doubt this is the case as well.

And he does look like an 8 month old baby. My cousin was wearing 12 month clothing at 6 months! You cannot really tell a babies age just by the size of them. Some are bigger than others just as some are smaller than others.

Britney probably doesn’t want the same media attention with Jayden as she had with Sean. I heard somewhere that photos had been taken of Jayden after he was born but Britney decided not to publish them after she split with KFed so that he could not profit over them. Perhaps once her divorce is finalised, then Jayden will be out a bit more.

Since Britney has been out in public people have said SHE looked like she had FAS. She doesn’t. She has droopy eyes. The kids look like her and have droopy eyes. There is nothing wrong with either kid.

TwinMom: I completely agree with you! I don’t think people should be trying to diagnose Britney’s kids. Both SP and JJ look normal to me. They certainly don’t appear to have Downs (trust me, it is very easy to tell when a person has Downs, because of the unique physical charactristics, such as a flattened nose, almond shaped eyes, and sometimes a smaller than normal mouth, that they posses). They don’t appear to have FAS either. For one thing, I am pretty sure that FAS babies are usually smaller than normal, and SP and JJ both seem to be just the right size for their ages.
Just because Britney drank during her pregnancies does not mean her boys have FAS or any other drug-related disorder. Even if they do have Downs or FAS, what is the big deal? I don’t know anyone with FAS, but I have known several boys with Downs over the years, and they are all very nice and seem very happy. My own personal opinion is that, because this is Britney, people actually WANT her kids to have problems.

I think hes fine! I think he’s just a big boy, NOT Sean. It made me crack open my older son’s baby book, and he was 28 pounds at 9 months old, so Jayden’s just a healthy cute boy.

Wow, some of you get way too defensive. This is a public forum, and I have a right to my opinion (sorry if I’m not being politically correct). I have a degree in psychology so I do know a thing or two about certain diseases and abnormalities. I’ve read a lot about fetal alcohol syndrome and I do think that in certain pictures, you can see some similarities. Considering Britney’s history, it wouldn’t surprise me at all and if it was true, I’d feel really bad for her boys. Also, as far as FAS goes, not all babies who suffer from it are small and not all of them exhibit every symptom or feature. Some of them only suffer from microcephaly, etc. Like I said, I wasn’t trying to be mean but I also don’t feel the need to sugarcoat everything.

Jayden looks so cute just like sean preston. I dont think they are seans cloths britney is just dressing them in the same style. I feel sorry for britney she should be able to walk around her own garden without having to worry about peole taking her picture.

I can’t believe that so many people (not just here, but on other sites, like X17, as well) keep insisting that that baby cannot be Jayden because he is too big for an 8 month old. Well, I have news for you. All babies develope at different rates. Some babies just happen to be really big! For example, I happen to know a baby who has gotten very big really fast. He is big for his age, and I am sure that a lot of people have trouble believing he really is as young as he is. I also once knew a little girl who literally looked about a year old in one of her six month professional portraits. That was simply a result of how she was posed in the picture and how the picture came out, however. In otherwords, it’s possible that these pictures might make Jayden look older than he is, or he might just be a big baby! Also, if you look at recent pictures of Sean, you can tell that the baby in these pictures is not him. Sean looks a lot older than the baby in these pictures (just look at their faces!).
