Brad Pitt picks up Pax and Zahara at school

Actor Brad Pitt, 43, picks up his children Pax Thien, 3 1/2, and Zahara Marley, 2, at school in Prague earlier today. More photos (including dropping off Maddox Chivan, 5 1/2) at INF Daily and Just Jared. Zahara was in an especially good mood!

Cute picture of Zahara! What a smile :)

- Marie on

how adorable looks Z smiling, finally I can see her happy. Brad is a great dad

- maggie on

Okay, so am I the only one who thinks that Z looks just like Angie, or am I just the only one saying it?! Round eyes, full lips… the kid is a knock-out.

- sarawara on

These are the cutest pics of Zahara I’ve ever seen! She looks zo beautiful and happy :)
And the picture of the three of them is adorable too.

- Sarita on

Wow, that’s the first time I’ve seen Z smile.

- Alicia A. on

My goodness, now that’s just too precious! That’s about the biggest smile I’ve seen from her since she was nothing more than an innocent baby who smiled over the littlest things. :) Too cute! ♥

LOL, and you’re not alone, sarawara. I’ve always thought she took after Angie, amazingly. She, Angie and Shi both share those full lips and eyes, at least to me they do. I’ve always found that unique that Angie could share something with her daughter back when she first adopted her. :)

- FC on

Now, that’s a behind (Brad’s) picture for you! I love that picture of the 3 of them!!!!! Too cute!!!!! Zahara!!! I love that girl.

- Meela on

Such a gorgeous little girl!

- Heidi on

Who says Pax is having a difficult time adjusting? I’m so happy for these children to be given an opportunity for a good life.

- Meela on

My heart is melting.

- Wendy on

She is a DOLL!!! Look at her gorgeous face…I think Brad is an awesome Dad too….

- TracyG on

Finally a smile from Zahara! I don’t think we’ve seen one from her since the pre-Shiloh days. What a beautiful shot!

- sweetdiva on

Z is so cute!

Why do all their kids carry such large backpacks though? There are so many brands that make child sized bags that are safer for children to carry.

- flower girl on

Zahara is such a cutie!!!!!! Good to see her smile. She is going to be a beautiful woman someday.

- TwinMom on

Z is adorable!

- Italy on

So cute! Pax looks like he’s doing very well. I bet he and Zahara are very close, going to school together all the time. Those backpacks all belonged to Maddox at one point, I bet they wanted to use their big brother’s bags.

- ryo_girl on

Aww what an adorable smile!!Zee is a doll!!And Pax and her are so cute with their little bags!!It makes Brad looks taller!:)

I am also among the people who think little Zee and Angie look alike!
I remember talking to my mom about Zee and Angie, and she didn’t know Zee was adopted and she thought she was mixed :) until I told her.

- popi on

Oh my Lord that child is gorgeous when she smiles! What a cutie pie!

- Grayson's Girl on

*melts* Zahara is sooooo adorable I could scoop her up and squeeze her!! What a doll!! I can hardly believe how tall she is now; I remember when she was a skinny little baby.

Sarawara – no, you’re not the only person who thinks she looks like Angie. I definitely see the resemblance.

- NausiccaofWind on

I just adore this family and I just adore seeing Brad from any angle but especially from behind. :)

- Tanya on

Oh my gosh those kids are so precious. I love Z’s smile!

- Kaley on

I knew it. I knew Z was a beautiful girl with a beautiful smile. She seems so happy. I am still worried about Pax, he cannot speak English and now the school speaks French, must be confusing for him. I hope he copes. Still have my reservations about Brad and Angelina.

- Clare on

Clare: It’s Maddox that is attending a French school right now. According to Just Jared, Brad picked Zahara and Pax up at a different place: The American Embassy Compound. I am sure that they probably do speak English there (since it is, after all, the AMERICAN embassy), and that Angie and Brad know and are doing what is best for Pax. From all of Angie’s post-Pax adoption interviews, she sounds like she already loves Pax very much, and is commited to helping him adjust and doing whatever is best for him.

- Annoynous on

I just wanted to add one other thing (I am the same “Annoynous” as before, BTW): We don’t actually know that Pax still cannot speak any English. Little kids tend to pick up foregin languages extremely fast (even faster than most adults, in fact!). I am guessing that he probably knows several words and phrases in English by now.

- Annoynous on

The “awwwwww” factor in those pics is through the roof, but what a great shot of Z! I knew that child had a lovely smile when she chose to show it. I can see why Brad and Angie are so crazy about her. Just watch, people — when she is a teenager she is going to be drop-dead gorgeous. Ethiopian and Somali women are some of the most beautiful women on the planet. The have so much natural grace and elegance. They’re born with it. And you can’t copy it; you either have it or you don’t.

Little Pax looks like he is very much a part of the family, and Brad looks like he was born to be a dad. God help Z’s first date when she is 16 or 17 — Brad will probably meet the poor guy at the front door with a loaded shotgun!

- Judy on

Can anyone else picture Zahara becoming a model when she gets older? I think between her height (she seems very tall for a 2-year-old) and her looks, she’ll go down a catwalk at some point.
I’m used to her having a sourpuss, so this picture came as a pleasant surprise. She is so pretty when she smiles! I wish she’d do it more often.

- Lauren on

So so very sweet! As a longtime fan of Brad’s I’m so happy he’s finally a dad. The man seems to live for his children. When Angie’s working he takes care of their children and when he’s working she stays at home. Sounds like a recipe for success to me.

- Suzie's mom on

Most definitely I can see Z becoming a model. I think she’s going to look something like Iman. You should see Iman on the June cover of “Town and Country”. 53 years old and still gorgeous.

- Judy on

I am glad to see a site that screens emails. I think the pictures are precious! I am happy for the family. The backpacks probably belonged to Mad or when they were buying Mad’s the other kids wanted one like him. My brother’s son age 4 has a large backpack also, it is what he wanted.

- gena on

LOL, the backpacks make them feel grown up, like they are going to the “big kids’ school”.

- Judy on

So cute! Pax is a gorgeous little boy and Zahara looks so precious.

- Hea on

I’m sure the backpacks are pretty much empty; children like to do what their older siblings do. So I’m sure they just let them have the packs purely for amusement purposes.

It’s so touching to see how far Zahara has come from that tiny little baby that she once was. As for Master Pax, he will be fine; children are like sponges when it comes to learning language. I have known of children who can learn a language fluently within a 1 year time frame. Having the other children around will make the process go even faster. Love, patience and time can conquer a lot!

- Daisy on

Why do a 2 and 3 1/2 year old go to school?

- Me on

My son began school at 18 months – he had science classes, language classes, art and music classes as well as the “basics.” I think it’s important for children who will be traveling and moving around as much as these children to experience learning in as many situations as possible. What a wonderful opportunity for them! This family is so wonderful! I love what they are doing and how they live their lives and the smiles on these faces prove that it’s in earnest. What a beautiful family – inside and out!

- bradley on

Me: we always call our sons’ daycare “school,” so maybe it is some kind of nursery school, preschool, or just fun activities for kids that age.

- Fynn on

Hard to believe anyone is complaining about the backpacks after seeing such adorable pictures, but so long as we are, I need to take advantage … my son is starting preschool in the fall and I am looking for toddler backpacks. HIP toddler backpacks (no CHARACTERS!) Any suggestions anyone?

- brannon on

Great smile on Z just wish Angelina dressed her in nicer outfits. I understand comfortable, practical clothes for children but she is a girl, her clothes are too often drab and plain. I just scrolled down and Denise Richards daughter was not dressed up but in pink and little Violet is always wearing light colored cute clothing or I see other celebrity little girls in really cute sun dresses.

- Mar on

Me: I was wondering the same thing about Zahara, but am guessing that, as some other posters have suggested, that it is probably a Day Care type place with academic or enrichment type programs. As for Pax, it doesn’t surprise me at all that he is going to school. Here in the United States (I am unsure whether or not you live here or in a different country), the vast majority of children start pre-school at age 3. Since Pax is 3 1/2, he is, in fact, pre-school aged.

- Annoynous on

I LOVE the photo from behind of all three of them. BEAUTIFUL!

I think Pax looks alot like Angie and I see that Z does look somewhat like her too. Cute cute picture of her being a happy NORMAL little girl.
