Zach Braff scared of holding babies

Being a single guy, Zach Braff hasn’t had a lot of experience with infants, which worked against him in his new film The Ex. Playing a new father, Zach had to learn to hold babies and jokes that he ended up mishandling a few of them.

The only thing I found very difficult was I never really held a baby before, and I didn’t know how to do it. The rest of the cast had some experience so they knew that you have to hold the head. Supposedly you have to hold their heads because it’s not strong. So the first couple babies, I injured them. The baby you see in the film was number six. One through five they will be fine, but they might walk funny.

Meanwhile, co-stars Jason Bateman and Amanda Peet are brand new parents, Jason to Francesca Nora, 6 months, and Amanda to Frances Pen, 10 weeks.
