Kristina Fulton says Nicolas Cage is an 'extraordinary' father

Kristina Fulton, the mother of Nicolas Cage’s 15-year-old son Weston Coppola Cage, raved about her ex-boyfriend at a recent charity event in Los Angeles, calling Nicolas "a very devoted and extraordinary father."  In a recent interview, Nicolas himself bragged about Weston’s accomplishments as a wrestler.  According Kristina – who had Weston at the age of 25 — the threesome have remained supportive of one another despite the ultimate demise of the relationship. 

We are a very close family.  We have always just kept really close, and we have all really grown up together ourselves.

As for Kal-El Coppola Cage, Nicolas’ 1 1/2-year-old son with wife Alice Kim, Kristina was similarly impressed.

Oh yeah, we all hang out.  He’s really cute.  Such a sweet boy.

How come Weston’s last name is ‘Coppola Cage’, I thought ‘Coppola’ was Nic’s real name and Cage is just a stage name? Did Nic legally change his last name to Cage? And if so, what is Kal-El’s name then? I’m confused!

I would just like to comment…why was there a need to say “who had Weston at the age of 25?” Does it really matter how old Kristina was when she had Weston?

Missy’s note: The only reason I included her age was to give readers some context for her next quote, stating that she and Nicolas had ‘grown up’ together with Weston. Hope that clarifies things!
