Rumor: baby puts the brakes on Helen McCrory's wedding

A planned summer wedding for British actors Helen McCrory and Damian Lewis is apparently on-hold, now that Helen is expecting the couple’s second child in the fall.  The 38-year-old actress, who played Cherie Blair in the hit film The Queen, has reportedly said that she would rather be "skinny and drunk" than "fat and sober" on her wedding day. 

According to a friend of the engaged couple:

They haven’t sent out wedding invitations yet because they are still deciding whether to postpone it until after the baby is born.

Helen and Damian already have an 8-month-old daughter, Manon.

While I’m sure the comment was made with humor in mind, I can’t help but feel a little disgusted at how that sounds. “I’d rather be skinny & DRUNK than fat & sober” WOW! I’d prefer to be skinny & sober I’d like to remember all of it!
